I am not a dining reviewer at all, and I am not going to try to be one, so bear with me as I try to post. I thought I would share some photos of our recent Omakase at Morrimoto's in Disney Springs, in case anyone was wondering about it, or has any questions. You need to reserve this meal at least 48 hours in advance and they charge a $75 per person reservation fee at the time of booking. It was really a fantastic meal and I will return. Perfectly timed. Good Flavors. This was the first course, a salad with grapefruit and King Salmon.

This was congee. A rice "porridge" dish. I had never had congee before, and always wanted to try it . It was delicious. This was in a chicken broth with Foie Gras on top. Foie Gras is not something i would ever order, because I object to it, but I did taste it..

This was a course near the end of the meal. This was snapper in a curry broth with rice noodles.

In between, was the sushi course, which was eel, flounder muscle, chutoro, and a torched otoro. Otoro is the fattiest part of the tuna, with chutoro being the second. I had had otoro before, but never chutoro. It melted in your mouth. I;m not going to post all the pictures, because you've all seen sushi before. This is the otoro:

Also, a course of yellowtail collar was served, and if I can find a picture I will post it later.

It looks and sounds superb. There is nothing better than watching the technique of a well-trained omakase chef. How many courses were contained in your particular meal?

So glad you enjoyed your Omakase! It was definitely the dining highlight of my trip last fall (and my best overall dining experience of 2017). When I went, it was approximately 10 courses for $150.00. Is that still the case?

As far as I can remember, there was salad, soup(congee), the yellowtail collar, the sushi course( each piece served individually), fish course, wagyu, and dessert. So 7 courses. I don't think I am leaving anything out. And yes, it was still $150.00, plus the mandatory 20% gratuity.
It was filling thoiugh. the last few courses I couldn't finish.

Above is the Wagyu, It was just grilled quickly, and served with a sauce. It was well marbled but pretty fatty, as you can see. I"m glad I tried it, but I don't have a pressing need to really try it agian, however, my son loved it. I was really hoping for a shabu shabu, as I saw some reviews had that.
