~*Once Upon a Celebration!*~ Our First Trip as a Family! June 12-19!

Might as well get started on out TR, one month after we came back!

First off, here's our story:

My oldest sister is 19 years my senior, but even though we're worlds apart in age I couldn't be closer to her. She married in 1996 to a wonderful man and in 1999 my first nephew was born. Christian is entirely special. He was a completely healthy young child until he was 6 when he was suddenly diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. He is the strongest child I've ever known and though he's been through many hardships, he has pulled through and I adore him. In 2000 we go little Jesus and in 2005 we got Gabriel. My nephews are the most amazing kids and I love them all to death, I could be considered there second mom, lol

There is something missing from their lives though, Christian just turned 10 and none of them have gone to The Happiest Place on Earth!!! Well, it's time to resolve that! Yesterday we mom and I recieved the wonderful news that we will be getting an inheretance money in 2 weeks time and we always planned for a 6th Disney trip when we got it. Except this time were taking the WHOLE crowd!
It's time for a magical gathering of EPIC proportions!

Ok, so here we go. Day 1!

Day 1 - June 12th, 2009

Ok, so our JetBlue flight was scheduled to leave around 9:45am, so DM and I were up around 6:30am. We got dressed and waited for the taxi to pick us up at 7. We were at the airport around 7:30am. My DS, her husband and the DNs arrived a bit later since they were being dropped off by my DS's father-in-law. After getting our boarding passes and checking-in our luggage we headed off to have some breakfast and go through security. By the time we made it to the gate it was around 9am and boarding was about to start, so we stayed there and took some video and pics.

We boarded the plane and we were ready to go! DS is very nervous about flying, so she was a bit paranoid the first hour or so of the flight, but then relaxed. For it being the first flying experience for Jesus and little Gabriel, they behaved excelently and weren't nervous at all! They were actually very excited!

Day 1 - Cont.

Ok, so we got to Orlando around 1pm and headed directly to get our luggage and get on our DME bus. As you can see, the kids were very excited to board!

A bit more waiting and we were on our way to the All-Star Music resort!

Here we are!

My DS her husband and the kids stayed in a family suite, which was pretty awesome!

Mom and I stayed in a standard room, which was also lovely! After checking-in we had some LATE lunch, we were starving! The kids headed off to the pool for a bit while the rest of us took baths and got ready to head down to DTD for our T-Rex ADR. Thank God I made ressies too, the place was PACKED and waiting time was over an hour-and-a-half!

Dinner was awesome as always...

...but it was pushing 9:30pm and we wanted to do some shopping plus get some Mickey ears. Oh! And the kids got adorable Dino plushies from Build-A-Dino!

We then headed to World of Disney for some browsing and fun.

The kids weren't very amused about the skeleton pirates...

After that we did The Carrousel and Train.

After that we went over to the make-your-own ears shop and got our ears ready. Then we headed back to the bus stop and to the hotel, it was almost 11:30pm when we got back and we were exhausted! We went straight to bed and got ready for our bright and early MK day!
