One bedroom ocean view in September or October 2020?

After much thinking and a ton of videos we have decided to go to Aulani. We’d use our DVC points seven months out for about a year from now, making a reservation next April or May for the 7 month window.

Does anyone know whether we’d have a problem booking a one bedroom with an ocean view for September or October?

We booked for this October and had no problems at all booking the rooms we wanted as all types were still available at 7 months (exactly). This could be because they'd announced the pool refurbishment though.

I've just checked and the ocean view one bedroom is still available for the week we're there next month! Ocean view is the biggest category they have, with 104 out of 245 rooms being ocean view (from what I've read). Standard is 18 and pool view is 31, which is why these are harder to get.

Ocean view should not be a problem. Since they are the most points they seem to get booked last.
