Hi All

Have usually stayed on site but friend has just talked me into staying in Paris for 3 nights with our 4 DD's. Fly out 22 Aug. Just wondered if anyone knew how best to get to DLP for the day. Is there a direct train from Paris station, our hotel is very close to here and if so does anyone have costs or a timetable. Thankyou in advance
Nicky

The fastest and cheapest way to get to DLP from Paris is to take the RER to Marne-la-Vallee Chessy. The stop there is literally a few feet from the entrance to DLP. As of a year ago, the trip cost 6 euro each way from the center of Paris. The trip from the city center is roughly 25 minutes each way, and trains run quite regularly. We felt very safe coming back late at night, as the cars were filled with people who had visited DLP for the day.

Click on the International passengers link to see the site in English. On the map, Marne-la-Vallee is an end stop on the red line, and it also says Parc Disneyland next to it.

Hope this helps. ::MinnieMo

You will take the A4 RER train based on all the travel books I have read. The A line forks, so you want to make sure the train is A4.

A few words of advice......

We took the train from Paris to DLP. It was quick and the ride was pleasant. Right at DLP when you come out of the train station. Just be aware that the train/metro stations are not very stroller friendly if you have young kids.

Also, pay close attention to where you enter the train station, so you can find your way back out when you return. We caught the RER at Chatelet les Halles (a big station where several RER lines intersect, along with many subway lines). It wa easy enough to find our way INTO the train station and find the right track. Coming back was the adventure. When we arrived at the station after returning from DLP, we didn't know what exit to take out of the train station to get back to where we were staying. There were a bazillion exits in all different directions. Not knowing where we were going and not speaking the language was a bad combination, especially at midnight. However, we always felt safe, and eventually we found our way back to the hotel, but not without a longer than necessary walk. So pay attention to the details when you enter into the metro/train stations - it might just save you some time on the return.
