Park Tickets - Best sites, new rules and regulations

Just wondering where is the best place to get tickets nowadays, been a while since we have visited Florida and many years since we bought park tickets. Possibly our last visit to the US for my husband and I so would like to take in some park visits. We are there for almost three weeks but would like to visit Epcot, Animal Kingdom, Universal and a water park, not really sure what else is there now. Want to obviously get the most flexible but economical tickets. I also heard park hopping is more difficult now and that you cannot park hop until after 2:30pm. Are there any new rules and regulations we should be aware of. Also would it be easier to park up somewhere and then use buses to get between parks rather than paying high parking fees at possibly two parks in one day? Thank you

So 2 of those parks are Disney (Animal Kingdom & EPCOT). For Disney until January 2024 you need to book the date you need to go to the park. Also currently (with no end date) you can't park hop until after 2pm.

For the other parks mentioned (Universal and a Water park) these rules don't apply and you can rock up without having booked.

You can't avoid the car parking fees its part of the parcel for going to the parks. You either pay car parking or use a transfer service of some type (uber/lyft/taxi/hotel shuttle). They have purposefully removed the loop hole they used to have where you could park at disney springs and get bus to a park because of people trying to avoid the car park fees for Disney at least and with Universal there is nowhere nearby really. You just need to factor in the car parking charges ($25 for Disney and $30 for Universal currently) when budgeting.

In terms of tickets usually if you are looking at over 4 days at the disney parks then you will be better off getting the UK 7 or 14 day tickets as they include park hopping and memory maker (the photographs). A day ticket ranged from about $150-200 depending on the actual day you book.

For Universal its usually anything 3 or over that is cheaper to get the 14 day UK ticket. Also remember that if you do Universal to be able to do the Hogwarts Express you need the two park ticket that includes Islands of Adventure as it goes between the two parks.
