Photo sharing: Zoos

Went to the zoo over the weekend with the family. It was a great day to go since it was kinda cold and the zoo was almost completely empty. Here are some of my favorite pictures.

Nice shots. I love walking around the Toledo zoo to take shots. With winter coming up the Lights Before Christmas lights are going up. Always a great time to set up and shoot. Have to give me a buzz if your in the area and we can shoot.

I did another Photography Day at the zoo yesterday. It was really cold (about 45 to 55 degrees), but that seem to make the animals more animated. I took a 300 f/2.8 mounted on a 7D and a 70-200 f/2.8 mounted on a 5DM2. I also used a 1.4x on the 300 for a few shots.

Recently got to go to the Wild Animal Park in San Diego. We did a three 1/2 hour photo safari. WAY COOL!
