there's also an ikea there now so they have a free ferry that goes from south street seaport to red hook and it's a really nice boat trip.

Here in Sydney, we take full advantage of having summer weather around Christmas. We BBQ, swim, and eat our Christmas dinner outside, enjoying the 90F weather. Parts of me miss a winter Christmas, but that's less and less each year.

My sister was in Sydney about 2 weeks ago, wonderful weather. Her boyfriend went surfing all the time. They loved it.

We are in the 80's right now in Puerto Rico and doing some BBQ New Year's eve.

Man is it cold...OK well now it is, it warmed up just after christmas & rained for 2 days straight melting everything.

Wow...an ancient thread that I don't recall having seen before. Glad it's been bumped up. Here's some shots from in and around my home area of Boca Raton, Florida:
