I have been so lucky to have parents who love Disney so much and are DVC members. I get to go a lot. I plan on continuing to go to WDW long after I start living on my own making magical memories with my own future family.

Wow, I was looking up past rides and attractions at WDW and I couldn't believe that the Magic Kingdom once had a Skyway. They said it closed down in 1999 the year after I was born.

So...how many of you realize that before the Disney Cruise Line that Disney was a sponsor on Premier Cruise Line's "Big Red Boat"? Me & DH went on our honeymoon in 1988 - a pic of the boat and scenes from the Dining Room:

We took our son on the cruise I think in 93 or 94. I'd recognize those waiter uniforms anywhere!

I thought the entire design looked totally different. Just read it was torn down in the year 2000. I was only 2 years old then.

I am so sorry. I actually am liking looking at these older rides and attractions. Disney had some really cool stuff back in the day. They have some really cool stuff now too.

Wow! I had never seen these demolition photos! Makes me so sad! Horizons was one of my favorite family rides that we could all experience together.
