Points at multiple resorts?

How does the 11 month/7 month reservation system work for having points at multiple resorts?

Also, with the windows, can you call when your reservation would start in 11/7 months, or would end?

If you own at multiple resorts, only the points from a particular resort have the 11 month advantage.

If you have 100 VWL points and 25 Vero Beach points, you could only use the 25 Vero points (plus borrowing or banking) to make reservations at Vero Beach prior to the 7 month mark. Same with the 100 VWL points, they could only be used at VWL.

The 11 month and 7 month dates are from your day of departure. If that falls on a Sat-Sun you have to wait until Monday to make the call to MS. At very busy times or when trying to get a GV some people will call day by day to make a reservation but that is not usually necessary.


Comment to others -- I noticed in the guidebook that while we have to wait to call on Monday to make a reservation, that if the deadline for banking points is Sat-Sun you must call on that Friday. Seems a little inconsistent.
