FWIW, I believe you can still use the pools at POR if you stay at FQ since they are sister resorts. That used to be the case unless there have been changes.POR for the food court and the secondary pools.
No, you can still go back and forth between the two.FWIW, I believe you can still use the pools at POR if you stay at FQ since they are sister resorts. That used to be the case unless there have been changes.
we love the total package; the atmosphere, the mansions with their manicured lawns, the tropical trees and foliage of the Bayou, the Mill, and it has the best store in all of WDW, IMO.
I absolutely adore French Quarter. The hotel is extremely intimate and you truly feel like you're somewhere other than WDW property.

You can take the boat between the resorts once it starts running, if you'd prefer not to walk.I like being in a building next to a "quiet" pool; it is a bit of a walk from FQ.
Whether staying at FQ or POR, the FQ pool may be worth a visit for folks with little kids due to the splash pad there.
I know that but that takes time as well which is why I prefer to have a room near a quiet pool. There are days when I would want to make a quick pool visit; there are other days, when the additional time to get to a specific pool doesn't matter. You can take the boat between the resorts once it starts running, if you'd prefer not to walk.
