We will be in the parks next week and have opted to got to MK on party days in hopes of lighter crowds. I know the party officially starts at 7, but we were able to get a 6:45 Skipper Canteen reservation. I realize we will not be able to stay in the park afterward, but thought it might be fun to be able to take a slow walk out afterward to do a little costume watching and see the festivities all set up. We won’t take advantage and will certainly head out, but are they very aggressive about booting you out the second you are done with dinner? Will we be able to mosey back down Main Street?

They'll be sure that you're walking the in the right direction, but as long as you're headed toward the exit (slowly...), you shouldn't have a problem. Jungle Navigation Skipper's Canteen is one of our favorites, so ENJOY!!

Walking down Main St is literally all you’ll be able to do. Use the rest room before you leave the restaurant, you won’t be able to enter stores or rest rooms after 7. Every store & land entrance will have CMs checking for wrist bands. Years ago people were sometimes held in the restaurant escorted to the exit in groups, so that may happen as well.

Last year I ate at Skipper Canteen on a MVMCP night near party time. They where checking wrist bands and making a notation on the reservation for those who had none. They had a protocol to handle these guests when their meal was finished. I had a ticket, so I was fine.

Went to MNSSHP last Sunday and there were lines of CM on Main Street actively moving guests without wrist bands to the exits.

Thank you for the replies. This is the exact info I needed, and I’ll adjust accordingly. I’ve go zero desire to cause headache or friction with cast members, and don’t need to be an extra nuisance. I’ll just shift us to a lunch ressie and call it good.

Sounds like a good plan… I suspect you’ll enjoy it more, as well!

There is a chance you will be escorted to the exit since the restaurant is not on Main Street.
