From all the research I’ve done, our plan is to buy resale (our SSR contract) and then add on direct with Poly2. That way they can match my use year. I don’t think I wanna go through the resale market again. Especially now that I’m trying to match use year.

Question: if/when they offer poly2 discounts to current dvc members will those discounts only be for blue card members or anybody who owns DVC?

This is exactly our thought process as well. I really think the current VGF incentives are amazing and the resort is very beautiful but…we love the Poly vibe! We love the poly as well. We almost bought resale poly instead of SSR but we got a better deal with SSR. Including closing cost and the dumb fidelity service fee we are only paying $2.91 per point over the life of the contract. (Not including annual dues of course)

But we want poly and will hopefully get our blue card with poly2 if they offer some great incentives. I got my fingers crossed for both of us that Disney wants to Sale, Sale, Sale some poly2!

Just got the email that Disney waived our contract, AND issued Estoppel certificate at the same time (maybe they're trying to catch up on the delay?).

This is our very first contract. We're in the UK so realistically will only make it to Disney every 2-3 years. The Poly has always been a bucket list for us, can't believe we get to stay there now! Now to wait for closing and getting our DVC email so we can get booking! How long has that usually taken for others?

pretty sure I have that formatted right... 60 points are banked into 23. so not sure if it should be 0 in 22 and 120 in 23?

Disney does that automatically now. Several brokers make a point of throwing that out in their emails, so it looks like things are moving along quicker than they actually are.

We passed today on our first contract. $136-17695-125 points-ccv. 06/23-125, 06/24-125, 06/25-125. Seller pays 2023 maintenance fees. Sent 8/10, passes 8/30.

This thread can be an invaluable tool for buyers looking for some help when researching the most up-to-date prices for DVC contracts on the resale market, so I encourage everyone to post their contracts when they are sent to Disney, no matter if they are big, small, or in-between !

If you would like me to post your details, PLEASE USE THE FOLLOWING LINK TO GENERATE YOUR DATA STRING OR I CANNOT ADD YOU (yes, I am being totally mean this round, as with all rounds!):

If you would like to double-check your entries after using the tool, just know that I need your username at the front and all data in the following order:

DISname---Price per point-Total cost (Price per point x # of points + Maintenance Fees to be paid at closing + Closing fees)-# of points-Home resort-Use Year-# of points available first year (banked or not),# of points current year, # of points following year, and year after that, followed by Date Sent for ROFR.


Please include any other details such as whether the seller is splitting closing or paying current year's MFs. We assume that the buyer pays current year MF and closing, so no need to add those details in writing, only to the total amount.

Then come back and post whether you passed or not using the tool again so that your completed string looks like the sample below. Or I will chase you down! Just kidding. But, in the spirit of helping everyone who uses this thread as a resource, please do let us know whether or not Disney waived your contract so that the data is complete. Please do not simply post that you passed, as I cannot comb through the thread to find your contract.

I know there's another thread for this but just had to share that Cammy at DVC Title & Escrow emailed me yesterday that my contract had passed ROFR and sent me the closing docs which I e-signed same day. The seller used DVC Title & Escrow's complimentary notary service to finish their steps yesterday, I wired my funds today, and the contract is scheduled to close 2 days from now. I don't think the process can get any faster than this!!!

I actually have a shot at being able to book something with the 31 points that expire October 1.
I got the email from Fidelity today that my contract passed ROFR
