Room Recommendations for SSR?

I'll be going "home" for the first time in two weeks at SSR and would like to get any recommendations for what building/room to request at check-in.

Which building would minimize the walk to DTD?
How about for the best view of DTD?
Which building is closest to the main pool?

Thanks! Any help would be appreciated.

Well If you want closest to the main pool you need to stay in the Springs. If you want closest to DTD ( and farthest from the main pool) you want the far end of Congress Park. We have stayed at both. The view is wonderful but we like the convenience of the Springs.

Let's see...
I stayed @ The Springs in 4/05...it's closest to the Main Pool. While there I
walked around the entire property twice taking photos...noticed that if I
wanted to be close to DTD, Congress Park is it! I don't know right now if
the newest section of SSR (The Paddocks-they're behind The Springs) are
open as yet, but don't stay there if they are...They're not close to anything...
as far as I can see.
I'd suggest The Springs...close to the pool,Artist's Palette and the dock...which by the way is a great way to tour the lake on your way to DTD!
The dock they'll bring you to is on the left side of Capt. Jack's Restaurant
when arriving.
