Roozlilone PJ/TR Saying "I Do" Again 7/17/08...Processional & Vows!

I can't belive those peple wouldn't step out of your pictures! I swear, people just keep getting ruder (and dumber). I am definitely leaving my phone in the room or somewhere. If they can't find the ceremony location after being given directions too bad for them!

I hope the rain holds off! Can't wait to read more!

Beautiful! You all looked so gorgeous and so happy! I can't believe your guests called you on your way to the ceremony. I would totally flip out. Now my list says "cell in purse - turned off". LOL!

Beautiful pics! I can't believe some people! I'd have asked them to move. :confused3 And probably not nicely either. :lmao:

Can't wait for the next one!!

Jodi I love that picture on the landing, you have a beautiful family! I can't believe those people didn't move for you. I agree with Jen I would have asked them to move.

where is the rest!!!

Sorry, I'm such a slacker! Updates are coming soon, I've been recovering from surgery  so I've not been on the board lately. I'm going to try and start updating by this weekend! Thanks for the interest! :goodvibes Getting ready for our Thanksgiving trip to Disney! :woohoo:

Vow Renewal Part III-The Boardwalk

Well, hello everyone, I'm back. I know it's been awhile, a long while, but it's time to finish this TR! It's so not like me. I've never been a procrastinator but life somehow has managed to get in the away over and over.....so where did I leave off... That's right...we were leaving the AKL, millions of calls from the family, going to the Boardwalk in the limo trying to beat the impending storm!!! :scared1:

As we drove, it got darker and darker and darker, you know the kind of clouds I'm talking about the really dark, scary type with lots of wind! I know, I know, Florida always has a rain storm in the middle of the summer, but this was worse, a low had formed right off the coast was showing signs of circulation! :headache: I was just thinking the whole time, if the limo driver would just go faster...we could beat the rain....then I was thinking...where was the limo driver going? :confused3 As a Disney fanatic (as most of you on the board) that knows the lay of the land in my head...I began to realize pretty quick that we were NOT HEADED TOWARDS THE BOARDWALK....we were going to the YC!!! If you have read my journal, you might remember I originally had my VR scheduled at the YC gazebo but had later changed to SBP! No one had told the limo driver we had changed!!! At least the resorts were pretty close together so we were only about 5 minutes behind schedule!

One of the best parts of the VR for me was meeting Amy, and I wish I had gotten someone to take a few pictures of us together, but at the time I was stressing over the whole "rain" thing. Finally meeting Amy was great, though. She gave us the flowers and we quickly decided that we were going to try and still have the ceremony outside (Rev. Jack was already at SBP ready to go!) so we hurried down the elevators to the Boardwalk!

Good picture of the flower wands (in case anyone is wondering) They were even prettier in person:

Ok, have to tell you the story behind this picture! This was the first time Christine came up to me (didn't speak to me in the Boardwalk Inn lobby). What do you think a NORMAL big sister would say, "you look beautiful." "I'm so happy for you." NO, the first thing she says....hey guess what we signed up with DVC!!! What the $&%^(&*:headache: I'm getting ready to renew my vows and she starts going off on this long story about the DVC, don't get me wrong....on any other day, great story, right now, right before my VR! What the?

We're off to the Boardwalk (I was getting really excited by this point):

I LOVE, LOVE  walking down the Boardwalk to SBP, one of the best parts of the VR, you can see Amy on the far right with her umbrella:

Me & DJ (my escort) It was really hard for me to believe he was only 8 years old (my ring bearer) when we first got married. And DJ is the same age now (23) that I was when I got married to Joe 15 years ago, kinda weird:

Up Next: The Ceremony!

Yeah! You are back! Great update can't wait for more!

As, for your sister....what on earth was she thinking. There is a time for everything, and that just was NOT the time, LOL!

I am glad you are feeling better. The good thing about the long wait between last update and this one-----I am remembering how beautiful you and the girls are for your VR. I wish more people would have VR. The VR lets kids see how their parents were how many ever years before.

Oh the sister issue-- we have one of those in our family to. My other sister and I now think the one sister really has no clue how she acts. I suppose be happy she was there.

And yes being 8 then and being 23 now really is a big difference LOL. Your daughters are so beautiful. The dresses were such a good pick.

Again glad you are back -- and feeling better

Patty

I'm just catching up on your TR. You looked absolutely beautiful on your VR day! OMG. Just lovely. I'm sorry to hear about all the family drama. Some people just need everything to be about them. It looks like you and your family had a great time though! Can't wait to read the rest of your TR!

I"m so glad you are back Jodi!! Hope you are feeling better!!

Ugh on your sister!!

I hope you beat the rain!! :scared:

I wish more people would renew their vows too! :goodvibes It definitely wasn't cheap, but it was worth every penny! I would do it again in a heartbeat! :lovestruc

My brother walking me down the aisle was very weird (good weird) and wonderful all at the same time. My father passed away before I was married, so he never got to walk me down the aisle, so it was kinda like he was their with us. My brother looks exactly like our Dad. So it was very special! :goodvibes

More coming soon! :goodvibes

Don't worry about the delay, I totally understand, I just finished mine up and it had been over 9 months :rotfl:

That is amazing that the limo driver didn't get updated on your location, but like you said at least they're close together.

I love the shot of your family walking down the Boardwalk and the one of you and DJ is cute too.

DH mentioned about getting a picture with our coordinator when we were leaving the reception and I'm so glad he did because I never would have thought of it either. At least you can see Amy in some of your shots.
