We have 1 day for both parks, on a Wed in Nov during off-season, harry potter is our top priority. We're staying RPR so have unlimited EPs. I went a couple years ago for a one day whirlwind trip and early entry was key to doing HP rides with short lines- is it still beneficial now that HP has EP? (lol- if you don't understand our lingo I sound like a crazy person...)

Any tips for maximizing EP? Certain rides you prefer to hit in the morning because of shorter lines? Does EP work during early entry?

I've read good things here about the Universal app for wait times- gonna download that puppy for our trip for sure!

You really shouldn't need any planning. We skipped early entry this year, no need for it now that the three big HP rides are on EP. We were there the last week of September and we could have ridden pretty much any ride as many times as we wanted with almost no waiting. Even Minions was almost a walk on with EP (usually that one has the longest EP lines).

Ride lines may not be an issue but time's $ if you only have one day so use that early entry! Also, if you get there and lines are short, go through the normal lines so you can see all the theming. And enjoy the HP areas without all the people.

"Time's $" TRUTH! And I COMPLETELY forgot about being able to enjoy the HP areas without all the people! I got some great photos last time and enjoyed things a lot more than when they became a zoo a couple hours later. Early entry it is!
