It's really easy...pack whatever you think you might need, then CUT IT DOWN 1/4...then you are ready.
You're on the right track by preplanning your layouts. I took everything I owned the first year (wasn't much since I'd only been scrapbooking for 6 month) and even then I didn't use most of my stuff. Last year I stuck to one theme, my wedding album. I planned the pages and only took what I needed for that book. My problem was that I became bored working on just one theme. This year I'm going to mix it up, but still preplan. It's also hard to stay away from the vendors. Last year I did some
damage with the"Two Scrappin" Chics. They are going to be there again this year and I love their stuff.
Don't bother bringing a lamp unless it's battery powered. In previous years, none of the tables were against the wall, so you'll have no way to plug a lamp in. Unfortunately, our half of the room lost half of our lights during the hurricane and they were not able to fix them. It was okay, though. If you wanted to check the colors on something, you just got up and walked to the other side of the room.
