Shopping in Nassau or Freeport?

I heard that the Straw Market in Nassau burned down a while ago. Has it been rebuilt?

Do you think we should make our "shopping" day be Nassau or Freeport? Which place has better shops?

They have a temp. straw market set up..its no big deal though and as far as shopping I guess Nassau would be better, but other than that Nassau is pretty dirty and not much to see, unless you are planning on going over to Paradise island...
