On Wednesday myself, my sister, her husband, and their 10 month old had a late lunch ADR (1:45) at Grand Floridian Cafe. First of all, just being on the grounds of this lovely resort is enough to make me happy, but the meal we had at the Cafe became a highlight of the trip. Dining with the baby is challenging (as a matter of fact, my sis canceled their other ADRs because it was just too much for the baby, especially after a disastrous experience with service at the Wave), but GF Cafe was so patient with us. At that time there were only a few other tables occupied, so we had the attention of 2 servers. They were amazing with the baby and so patient with us, considering we were at the table for 2 hours. Not only was the service attentive, the food was OMG DELICIOUS. Highlights were the orange-strawberry nonalcoholic juice blend, Heirloom Apple Salad (I'm going to dream of this salad until I can get it again) and the pancakes with lemon curd and blueberry topping. It was some of the most fresh, well prepared, and nicely presented food I've had at Disney, and it wasn't absurdly expensive. I will try to see if I can figure out how to upload my food porn from my phone....
