I am 99.999% sure that I know the answer to this question before I even ask, but I've been surprised more than once around here.
We are checking into CCV in a few weeks, and the way the school and flight schedules worked out, we are flying in the day before our check-in, arriving in MCO around 11:30 p.m. that night.
Our current plan is to grab a hotel near the airport, crash, and then transition to our cabin the next day. While this may ultimately be the best way to go, I'd like to avoid schlepping ourselves to a hotel for 6 hours of sleep and a shower, and then repack our stuff to go to a different hotel, all within 18 hours. For lack of a better phrase, I'd like to avoid the "layover" if I could.
So my question is this: assuming there is open occupancy in the cabins the night we fly in, what are the chances that DVC would let us check in "early" if we showed up at, say, 12:01 a.m. the day of our check-in?
I am pretty sure the answer is "0%", but I've never tried it, so I thought I'd just throw it out there and see if I am wrong.
Please and thank you!
