How is the best way for 2 families( total 11 people) to move from Kidani Village at AKL to Grand Floridian for split stay? Thanks
From your Kidani room phone press the bell services button the evening before transfer to schedule luggage pick up the next morning. How is the best way for 2 families( total 11 people) to move from Kidani Village at AKL to Grand Floridian for split stay? Thanks
are the bags are already at the new resort? or still at the old one when you check in?We split stays often and although it doesn't work for everyone, we let Disney transfer our luggage, spend the day at a park and return to the new resort well after check in time. You will not have access to your bags until after check in time so plan accordingly and if that doesn't work for you make alternate arrangements. Bell services will deliver the bags to you once you are in your new room or you can pick the up yourselves.
You could also have a few adults move the bags via ride share, store them with bell services at the new resort and then meet the rest of the party after dropping off the bags with bell service to be stored until rooms are ready.

No notifications given. You can call the new resort bell services and ask. Keep in mind that they will not transfer cold or frozen food. You will have to take that yourself.Do you receive any form of notification that the bags have arrived at the new resort? Or do they give you a tag number at the original resort that will still apply at the new one?

Since I use an ECV, it wasn't a problem to take the walkway from MK to the GF. If you don't want to walk, you could either take the Monorail of a boat.
What do people do if they have groceries that they need transferring? No notifications given. You can call the new resort bell services and ask. Keep in mind that they will transfer cold or frozen food. You will have to take that yourself.
I have a backpack cooler that I bring with me to transfer my cold stuff to the next resort. What do people do if they have groceries that they need transferring?
If they do, make sure you tip well, that is heavy and awkward stuff to transfer. And also have it contained so it's organized.will they transfer things that don't need to be constantly chilled like crates of beer, soda's and water's?
