We arrived at SSR on Friday, and the resort is extremely quiet and probably at 5 percent of capacity or less.
We are staying in the area of the Paddock near the pool. That appears to be the only section of Paddock that is open. The weekend had about 15-20 cars, but on Monday afternoon I saw seven cars.
The Paddock section and the Congress Park section appear to be the only sections of the resort open.
We have been to the High Rock Spring Pool twice in the afternoon and there were about 25 people there for the peak. The loungers are spread out some, but only 10 percent of them are in use, probably less. The Paddock pool also is open and because it is small, it looked a bit more "crowded" at the time, so we went to High Rock.
People in the common areas are using masks, especially where there are people around. When you are in your lounger, they have announced you should wear you mask. Not everyone is doing it, but people are so spread out it, I don't think anyone is feeling unsafe.
We also went to Disney Springs one afternoon, with few people about. The afternoon is always slower there.
To get to the Springs, you can walk or take the bus. We walked, as I have only seen one bus since being here. You could drive over and park at Congress Park to save a few steps,
No boats are running at SSR or Disney Springs.
With the new safety procedures, getting food and shopping takes more time. Disney Springs is also sold out of many adult-size masks.
They appear to be renovating the rooms near the main bus stop near the High Springs Pool. I did not see any work being done, however.
We are here for a week, so if anyone has a question I can try to answer.
