However Steve took the picture and he made my feet look huge.
I don't think your feet look huge at all.
Today we were headed to DHS, then back to AKL, we had the storybook dinner at Artist Point and an evening full of fun at MK's VIPassholder event. Would we make it to everything?!
I'm sure you will. You are all rockstars. Me on the other hand would not make it throught that day.
it must have been a really off day for buses to DHS as we waited close to 50 minutes for a bus!!
Wow! That is really bad for a wait time.
So we just headed right to our next FP, Slinky Dog Dash!
I can understand that.
Anyways, I didn't let that stop me so I got a youth XL and it just happened to (barely) fit.
There's no way I could pull that off. Even an Adult XL is small on me. #plussize
So here's the last time we'd see the individual tubes of shampoo, conditioner and body wash (they still give the lotion tubes though, for now):
Yeah, I believe in CA they have passed regulations that all hotel chains need to switch to dispensers. I'm actually looking forward to this because Fran steals
every bottle of shampoo, conditioner, etc. In my bathroom, I literally have bins full of mini shampoo, etc, under one of the sinks. They are sorted into tubs with. I even have them separated into facial soap and body soap. I can't use the shampoo and conditioner as I have prescription shampoo, so it just sits there accumulating with every trip we take.
OK This was supposed to come before my last post but somehow I never posted it when I thought I did. I corrected it so now this post comes before my last, so sorry for the switcheroo!
That's OK I'm so far behind I totally missed it before you switched it back.
I really want to stay here next time, but it's really hard to get a room there with our DVC points as it's always sold out by the 7th month mark! I will waitlist one day and see if something opens up!
I own at Boulder Ridge in case you're interested in renting....
I don't know what it looked like before but from everyone's feedback it sounds like the interior is different. It looked like an enchanted forest to me.
The layout is the same, but yes the vibe has changed.
Here's some pics of our menu. It is seasonal so when we went back in May some of the items were different
I'm still sad that they don't have the mushroom soup on the menu anymore.
For a cocktail I got the Enchanted Apple, which tastes like a really good apple martini - remember when those were really in? I really liked it except that it was a really skimpy portion, I mean, look at the glass, it's half full! C'mon Disney! I don't need that much of a sugar rim!!
I'd probably like that one too, but might order wine since it's such a sad portion.
Overall, we LOVED dinner and I highly recommend this meal as the food is great and we had so much fun. I loved being able to have a new dining/character experience at Disney World!
Huh. I'll have to see how the menu changes. I wouldn't have cared for some of the appetizers, and the only main I would have ordered was what you got.
We waited for a bus, and when we got to MK, it was still raining, so Steve went to get me a poncho because I didn't bring any on this trip. Steve refused to get one for himself even though I insisted that he do, but he is stubborn.
And this right there would have convinced me to pack it up and go back to the room.
See? We aren't the only crazy DISboarders who braved the pouring rain!
Well, yes you are crazy!
It was a lot of fun that evening! The rain stopped probably an hour into the event and the whole park had very light crowds.
It's nice when that happens! I've had that luck before.
They are in the cutest outfits and helped me ring in my birthday with a bang.
So cute! I'm glad you started your birthday off nicely!
