We have 3 sleeps!!!


The kids clothes are all organised (and packed) - what we are taking is all washed but no other packing done.

We are having the house painted (inside) while we are away so we are still really busy packing everything away taking pictures down and cleaning in those corners you (well me....) usually just ignore cause no-one looks there anyway!!

Has turned into a really horrible time this last week with my husband finding out he is to be retrenched in November. So we can't wait to just run away from it all for a while - and what better place to go.

Happy organising everyone - will keep in contact while we are away with some on site reports as we will have the lap top.

Zaccy - So sorry to read about your husband. I hope that things work out for you and that he finds a job quickly!

Our first stop is San Fran. Any suggestions for places to go for our first meal there? Staying at The Handlery in Union square. Arrive around mid avo, so hopefully we can push on and do some shopping, then have dinner and an early night!!

Thank you we fly out on Friday finished packing today and rechecked all our paper work. Will have a busy next few days with work, looks like we are in for some cold weather, looking forward to seeing Disneyland in the Christmas season as well as Knotts Berry Farm, Universal Studios, Magic Mountain, Anaheim and LA.

I have been looking at some of the Black Friday specials so we have 3 1/2 suitcases to fill.

We leave at noon on the 30th. After 12 nights at WDW we fly to Syracuse NY. Driving back down to PA from there for a few days then back up to Canada where we will spend Christmas with my family.

We are leaving on Thursday (2 more sleeps ). We haven't even started packing yet - well the kids kind of have but I haven't. Have so much to do between now and then.

Tonight I have to drive down to the big shops to pick up a few more things as there are no shops where I live (in the bush ) and we have to do my DD's project that is not due yet but tomorrow is her last day so I guess she should probably hand it in

there is a shop near Knotts we got some good deals last time like $20 USD for a set off queen size fitted sheets with pillow cases very good quality

I washed, ironed and packed my clothes today...my bag is so heavy, not over the limit but hopefully whatever I buy won't be too heavy for the return trip lol Hope I haven't forgot anything (am sure I have)
