We save those thin metal hangers from the drycleaners and pack all of our hang-able clothing on them. The clothes lay nicely folded in half on hangers in a suitcase, make unpacking a breeze, and don't take up much room in the closet on the ship. We then thrown them away on the last night while packing up to go home. The dirty clothes take up less room on the way home since they can be folded (or scrunched up in the suitcase) and aren't on a hanger so you end up with extra room for those souvenirs you weren't planning on buying.
