Treehouse villas : specific questions to help our location request

Hoping to get some insight re: location requests

I've read posts regarding pros and cons of villa locations close to the water (mainly related to the horn sounds from the boat).

Context: we will be there May 2-5, and will have a car so we do not plan to take the Disney bus system. As we plan to stock up on groceries, we are not planning to go to the main resort building's food court. Hoping to spend evenings at Disney Springs and luckily no one has significant mobility issues so either walking or taking the boat are options. While spending time at the pool may be nice, we are there for such a short while that it is not a big priority.

Specific questions:

1. Are there any advantages to the villas further away from Disney Springs/Main SSR resort?
2. Approximately how far of a walk is it from these more northwest villas to the boat launch?

Should be less noisy than near the boat dock but note that there is a bus stop up that way. About a 5 minute walk to the dock.

we prefer to stay near the pool... just in case you want to flip over to Saratoga ....
