Tv Trivia From All Eras

:lmao:

What year(s) is your show from?

1963-1970. See my post above yours.

Who remembers a game show from the 60's where two players competed on a life-sized game board, answering questions and having to perform stunts.

Do you remember the name of that show???

Well we're movin on up, To the east side.
To a deluxe apartment in the sky.
Movin on up
To the east side.
We finally got a piece of the pie.
Fish don't fry in the kitchen;
Beans don't burn on the grill.
Took a whole lotta tryin'
Just to get up that hill.
Now we're up in teh big leagues
Gettin' our turn at bat.
As long as we live, it's you and me baby
There ain't nothin wrong with that.
Well we're movin on up,

Hmmm....so far I've known each one of these but someone has always beaten me to the punch. Now I get a chance to post and I have no clue :headache: About what year was this?

EDIT -- Oops...you posted about the same time I did...so it's Ruff and Reddy, a little before my time...now I don't know the quote. Hmmm....

I was about 4-5 years old when Ruff & Reddy came out. I remember one episode in particuar when they went to the planet Munimula. (That's aluminum spelled backwards.) Why do I remember that stuff???

Denise - way to go on Video Village!!!

Now.... does anyone remember the name of the original host of Jeopardy? (No fair googling the answer.)

I'm sure this is incorrect but "who is Alex Trebek?" He's the only one I know.

Nope. Alex Trebek came along in 1984. The original version of Jeopary aired in 1964 with Art Fleming as the host and Don Pardo as the announcer.

More game show trivia. Hugh Downs - of 20/20 fame - served as an emcee of what late 50's early 60's game show???
