"Use Year" = Youz Year or Yoose Year?

How do you pronounce it? Is it a noun or a verb?

I've always pronounced it like the noun, as in "the best use (yoose) of points."

Sean Faulk on The Dis says as a verb, as in "the best way to use (youz) your points."

I always thought the other members of The DVC Show were just too polite to correct Sean, but I'm sitting here on hold with Member Services and the repeating spiel keeps saying Youz Year the same way Sean does.

I am neither of those.
UY = Use Year, the year that the points are available to be used.

I was thinking the same thing when I was on hold the other day with MS. I have always said "yoose" year, but I noticed the recording was saying "youz" year. It made me wonder if I've been saying it wrong. I am definitely TEAM NOUN!
