"VIP" Safari at AKL/AKV?

Hi everyone,

I'm finally watching the latest "Disney's Best Kept Secret" on the Travel Channel. They are showing a family staying at AKV going on a "VIP" safari that the narrator says is available to all resort guests. The only safaris I was at all familiar with were the Sunrise and Sunset safaris, available to only concierge guests. Am I missing something? Is there another safari that we could get in on--without staying concierge and having a Jiko meal????

The sunset safari is actually open to all guests staying at AKL/AKV. The cost to concierge guests is "reduced" to $160 and it is around $210 for other guests at the hotel and villas.

ACtually, the Sunset Safari (Waynyama) is available to ANYONE staying at ANY Disney resort.

Interesting. We were told when we were on the Waynama safari that it was open to all WDW guests.

If it's changed, you know how slow DVC is to update websites. Or maybe they meant to say it was available to all Animal Kingdom Resort guests. We are saying concierge level after the member cruise next year so it doesn't matter to us as we will have our pick.
