1994 - my parent were in their early 40s and i was 4!
Now I'm 28, about to be married, no kids and just got added to their title
As a parent who will be in her parents’ place in 20 years. I say keep the thank you note. I want lifetime APs... and grand kids. But mostly the APs.Better write a really nice thank you note!
DH and I were mid to late 20s, our dd was just under 3. Points were half the costs they are now. DD just graduated college and the DS that didn't exist at the time is going to be a senior in HS and we are in our late 40s. We are making another family trip down in August. The senior in HS just sent me a text saying I didn't post a 28 days left picture! I used to do 30 day countdown cards with Disney pictures and stuff when they were little (actually every trip, ha ha). This time I decided you use technology and text everyone a picture of my countdown clock and I change the picture every day to have pics from when they were little. Even though the kids get older, they really still love the place and the excitement it brings.... Can't believe they called me out for missing a day!
How old was everyone when you first bought into DVC? Also, what life stage were you at? Like, did you have young kids, older kids etc.
I’m asking as a 28 year old with no kids, but I go to Disney often. Just wanting to get some perspectives from people of different life stages of when to buy in
