This is me today ; moving WAY to slow (Diane ...IT'S really "hitting me" today ). It's a good thing this is Teacher Appreciation Week. Don't know if any other school districts has this but ours designates a week out of the school year for students/parents to show their appreciation to the teachers (and, as in our case...office staff) for all they "give/do" for their students. I have not had to cook dinner the entire week! DD has brought home some the most amazing dinner entree's and the desserts......Caramel/toffee brownies from yesterday are to die for! It couldn't have come at a better time for me!

That's a nice idea. We don't have anything like that here.

DD has made enough entrees over the years between both DGD's and it's nice to be on "the other side" . They fill out questionnaires on favorites and family allergies and parents volunteer from that list. DD had written her favorite snack as Snickers; she came home Monday with 30 oversize Snickers bars, bags of Snickers...miniature and regular and regular bars. Not good having around when I'm suppose to be cutting back on sweets!
