while at the DLR.... I love to hear stories of lasting memories Disneyland has given them.
We've been visiting the park yearly since DH and I were 18 (we're in our 30s now!!). I've had some awesome memories at the park but what is one that sticks out the most?
I have a few but my 2 most favorite were the first time we brought our first DS to DL. He was 8 months old right after the holiday season was over (so there were NO crowds) my MIL paid for our stay at GCH and DS came down with a cold. Although that part was awful, we still had a great time. He fell in love with both Astroblaster and Small World. So much that we rode Astroblaster probably 50 times that day and we didn't mind...
Another was last year when DS #2 (who was 17mos) was fascinated by the bubble gun we got him. He learned to say his first real word ("bubbles") on that trip. And he would walk through the park ONLY if we would leave a trail of bubbles for him to chase. I saw plenty of people with smiles on their faces watching him walking through bubbles and I can still hear him saying bubbles while trying to pop all the ones he could catch.
Both of these memories still bring a smile to my face!
So what are your most memorable moments at the DLR!
