When we were in Disney last August, My DH and DS were able to use snack credits to get fudge. I think they got 2 pieces each.
YES!
However...this means I must lose weight before December..LOL

We mainly used ours for iced tea (me) and coffee (DH). DH rarely drinks soda of any sort, especially when it is hot out. We still thought they were well worth it, and will be getting mugs again on our next trip.
eeyore45, hubby and I found that you can actually put bottles of alcohol in your checked bagage. normally we drive, but when we fly, you are allowed quite a bit of alcohol in your baggage. so we bring a bottle of whiskey, a bottle of rum, a bottle of vodka, then we buy the mugs. the frozen cokes at POP work very well with the rum,. a FANCY DRINK!! at just the price of a the same thing at the gin mill dowm the street from your house!
Okay, smidgy, explain in detail how you transport alcohol. How do you protect the bottles in the suitcase? How much alcohol can you bring (do you have airline guidelines?) You are my new favorite person!
Oh and I know that you can't bring Bacardi 151 on a plane, it's too high a proof so it's considered flammable.
With a SC, can you only get one item or up to $4 worth?
An answer to Jill Schwartz---milk and juice usually are not included in the refillable mugs. You can fill them with coffee, hot chocolate, sodas, tea, and lemonade. At the Poly, they do have small containers of milk and juice for purchase at Captain Cook's.
We shared a lot of the CS meals, because so many of them are just too much food for one person. A half chicken at Tusker House or a pizza & salad at the Toy Story arcade makes a great lunch for two, and your CS credits go twice as far.
I'm really looking forward to the next trip, now that I've found the DIS. Armed with the updated snack list sticky, I plan to drink myself into a caffeine overdose on all those snack credit cappuchinos.
You also can not get food items that would be considered a meal, like a hot dog.
1. DISclaimer - I've only read pg 9 - - but when we were at Poly - we did get 2 mugs for the 3 of us - and one mug was the designated "coffee" mug (that coffee smell leeches into plastic - trust me!)

We solved this problem with those Palmolive dish cloths that have the dish soap already in them. I cut them into 4ths (they hold a lot of soap) and I can wash all 4 of our cups with one of the pieces. It works great and no worry about spillage in my suitcase.
I also found them at the $1.00 store so I got a couple of boxes.
