I came down with the flu :(. But here is the QOTD-

If you were to have a candy themed party where they had bowls of assorted candies, and your guests were given a bag to take home what they wanted, what ten candies, gum...would you choose to have?

MMMMM, candy! Let's see, what 10 candies would I choose. You can forget the gum!

1. Bite size Heath Bars
2. Peanut M&M's
3. Bite size York Peppermint Patties
4. Starburst jelly beans
5. Brach's Fruit Slices
6. Tootsie Rolls
7. Bite size Hershey's Dark Chocolate Bars
8. Bite size Mr. Goodbars
9. Brach's Peanut Clusters
10. Bite size Cherry flavored Licorice

I said bite size because you mentioned putting the candy in bowls. I also prefer eating my candy in small pieces.

Hope you get to feeling better real soon!

You were invited to a Texas BBQ, and there were three different types of entertainment there. Which three things would you like to see or even participate in?-(Ex.Square dancing).

Were you grounded as a child or had gotten in trouble? Tell us about it.

Being the oldest, I was supposed to "know" better. So whenever we fought/argued/bickered, I was the one grounded. Which really wasn't too bad. It meant I had to stay in my room and read a book. I love to read.;)

Othere than line & square, I don't know any other appropriate dances. But I would be willing to try them once I learned them

Hmmm, the square dancing would be fun. And it would be cool to see some bull riding too.

Oh yes. Once in the second grade a kid in my class was selling some gum. I didn't have any money and I knew my mom wouldn't give me any for something like that, so I found a jar of quarters up in my step-dads closet.

I took a few of them to use to buy the gum, figuring they'd never know. Well, turns out those quarters were really old and worth more then just 25 cents!

When the dad of the kid who sold me the gum saw them, he took them from his kid and called my parents to ask them if they knew I was using them as payment.

Busted! I was in big trouble and grounded for two weeks. But I learned my lesson and was actually never grounded again. (well, I wasn't really an angel after that, especially in high school, ;) , but I never did anything that they felt I needed to be grounded for)

I get invited to Texas BBQ's all the time! THe joy of living in Texas :)
I love to...
1. Drink Shiner Bock Beer
2. Play Washers (Like horseshoes, but with mettle washers and a hole dug into the ground)
3. Listen to some Outlaw Country on the radio (Willie, Waylon, David Allen Coe, Robert Earl Keen... etc)

I spent a whole summer grounded once. :( I broke my brothers coller bone while we were rough housing, and then I kept getting caught sneaking out. It was a lousy summer.

I forgot about some candies. Sorry! I'll have to add to my list.
11. Bite sized Mounds
12. Bite sized Almond Joy
13. Bite sized Snickers with almonds

I think that it would be fun to square dance, line dance and listen to some country and western music. And since square dancing and line dancing are in the same category, I'd have some horse shoe tossing thrown in there for good measure. And, of course, it would all have to be done out under the stars and the big Texas sky!

I remember getting spanked with a China Berry switch but I don't remember why. Though I did get in trouble once when my sister ate too many green plums from the tree beside our house and she got sick. My mom felt that I should have stopped her being the older child and all. I don't know why, I was eating them along side her and I didn't get sick. :confused3

If you were to do one magic trick that you have seen done before on stage, which one would it be?

Wow, tough one today... I have to say that I like the old one dollar bill into a hundred trick...

That I can really do or want to do?

Really, I can make money disappear. ;) Just watch me shop.

Want to do - make a rabbit come out of a hat.

I'll have to think on this one. Probably any trick that will entertain or astound me.

What was the most painful decision that you had to make?
Last Fall to not go on the band trip to New York which I ended up going on anyway to take the place of another chaperone that had had a stroke, so I guess I was meant to go on that trip. It really wasn't all that painful to make that decision but it was a hard one. I really haven't had any painful decisions to make just hard ones sometimes.

I don't know that I've had any painful decisions. Hard, but not really painful. Guess I've been blessed to not have to do that.

What was the most painful decision that you had to make?

We had to get rid of our 2 dogs last year. The first dog, Kirby, was a Pug-Shizu mix who bit our daughter 2 times. :( The second dog Kelsey, a Basenji, went a week and a half later. She had never been alone and could not take it. She kept thinking that Kirby was locked in any room with the door closed. She would try to dig up the carpet and ended up cutting her paws up on the carpet tack stips. :( It was really rough...

What was the most painful decision that you had to make?

Hmm, I'd have to say making the decision to move from MI to Vegas. We used to live in CA and my grandparents had wanted us to move out to MI for awhile.

We finally decided in '04 to give it a try. We were out there for 3 years when we'd had enough of the winters, and made the choice to move back west.

My grandparents are getting older and cannot travel, so when we left, it was with the knowledge that it could very well be the last time we saw them alive and well.

Do you like nuts? What types do you like, and dislike? How do you like your nuts prepared-honey roasted, chocolate, salted,....?

 Sorry just trying to be funny. I like all kinds of nuts but I cannot eat Walnuts. There is just something about them. They alwyas tear up my mouth. So, I just stay clear.

I am not big on salted. But, I LOVE candied nuts or CHOCOLATE!!:dance3: Oh yea be careful with that one.:rotfl2:
