We were actually a little tired and thinking we’d like a break, but our dinner was at 5:15 at Sci Fi. It was probably about 3 and I knew if we left then, by the time we got to the room, we’d only have about an hour (IF that) to relax before having to return back to MGM for our dinner reservation. So I had another idea--try to get an earlier ADR at Sci Fi (or 50’s PTC) so we could eat and THEN take a break, and make it back to MGM well before the EMH’s began. So I began my quest…and was unsuccessful by phone. But they did tell me maybe we could walk over and see if anyone has just cancelled or if they could fit us in early.
We decided we’d try, but we had to put that off because the parade was crossing our path!

I tried so hard to get Chip and Dale’s attention but it was too crowded.

The big Cheese

After watching that part of the parade, we tried unsuccessfully to change our reservation. Sci Fi, nor 50's had anything. So we just decided we'd have to go without a break today.
We went to see the Muppets 3D show. It’s so cute…I always enjoy this one. We apparently didn’t take any pics in there. I don’t know why, I remember waiting a while.

When we came out, I noticed the army men and decided to have a little fun…

I walked up and did a little foot stomping action, then saluted him.

I enjoyed this interaction with a character I have never seen before this visit. Like I said, I always went in the summer and there’s so many people that you don’t get as many chances.

Then we noticed Buzz, and plenty of kids in line to meet him

And….Car # 53!!!

Next up: Our first DIS meet! And channeling our inner child!

I love your photos and how fun you got to be in that show

My dad was in that show on my first trip to Disney World as a child


I so would have done the same thing with the gaggle of characaters

Now you need Carla to work her magic and edit out that family, so you can look like it is just you with the characters


You got a lot of great shots of the parade

You are too funny with Army Men

In all my trips to Disneyland I have never seen Daisy Duck even once. Not fair. No luck on me getting to see Indy DH doesn't do the shows like that. Oh well I shall live vicariously through you.

GREAT update again Cheri! I'm really really enjoying reading this. I must say I'm actually glad you waited to finish till now just before our next trip. Really really making me excited for September. I know I sound like a broken record

Anyways, the picture of you "with" all those characters is awesome.

That is SO awesome that you got to be IN the Indie show!! You really can see the excitement in your face and you really look like you had fun. That's the same look Chris had on his face when he did it. Chris had to act all crazy and loud too just to be picked. I was so embarrassed I still have yet to find the well outside!

That stinks that you couldn't get an earlier ressie for Sci Fi.

I love the pictures of you and Mike with the army men. That looks totally fun! I've never met them before but seen them multiple times.

The picture of you with Herbie is SO cute too! You always seem to have just the right pose for each picture

What happened? Well, I got the rest of my pics uploaded into Photobucket without getting them too much out of order

Oh Lordy, you wouldn't want me to design a tattoo. I am a horrible drawer (okay, I know that is not a word... at least, it's not one pertaining to drawing...rather, something that you stick your clothes in )
I am not an artist---yeah, that's better. I just followed the directions, I guess.

It was exciting! I got to be in the Backlot tour thing when I was a teenager, too. That was so much fun, too!

I think I learned about the Well from Allears...or somewhere here on the boards. You can pull the rope that's attached to it and you'll hear a cool sound effect.
Maybe I can show you when I show Carla...if y'all don't find it before then.
