My family & i are already planning our 2013 disney vacation. I have searched, but i didn't see another november 2013 thread so i figured i would see if anyone else has begun to plan.

Our check-in date is october 31st, but our first park day will be november 1st and the majority of our vacation will obviously be in november.

Just edited that post...we arrive on the 22nd, not the 23rd, as stated earlier.

And, in today's mail, we got a FREE DINING PIN! So we'll need to cancel AoA-LM to take advantage of that deal. More changes will follow, I'm sure.

Have you done the Pirates and Pals cruise before?

The food is wonderful. Down home, simple, but amazingly delicious since its all grown there, very flavorful American. Kind of like the benefits of eating a holiday meal without you having to cook!

One of my favorite features is that you are served, family style. So the food is unlimited like a buffet but you don't have to get up and get it yourself, you just ask your server for more of the stuff you want more of. I find that with buffets I sometimes get back to the table and have missed a character I was looking forward to taking pictures with. Or feel that I have to rush to get a plate from the buffet so I don't miss a moment!

The character interaction is decent, not fantastic. In my trip report I posted a bunch of pictures ... we've had more characters stay longer and interact more with my DS at Goofy's Kitchen in DLR. However, the time they did spend with him was priceless ... there's a video in there of him asking several of the characters to dance Gundam style, and they did! (Link to TR with video and pix in my signature.)

Its going to be our one character meal this trip, since DS begged to go again.

So was up shortly after 3 am and checked my flights again and much to my surprise my return flight dropped again. I guess I should have waited to buy, so I banked another $32 in credits $16 ea tix, now I have $82 towards my next trip!

okey-dokey...I'll make sure the first post is correct. So glad you got a free dining PIN!!! And for those who get any deal: congrats! I'm happy with my room only discount, but I *may* be able to get a discount on the dining as well (I hope so). Because, if we can, I'm going to purchase the QSDP....that way, we'll have lots of snack credits for the Food & Wine Festival.

Wonderful, Jil!!! I don't know about GG, but I've heard good things. And we love the Chipmunks, too. I think my youngest is going to bring his beat up, torn Webkins chipmunk to show Chip & Dale (I've tried to pry it from his hands, it's no use). And we liked Sci-Fi; the loop got a little old, but the tasty food & totally awesome shakes make up for it.

11/11: MK with a Crystal Palace breakfast
Not sure if we're doing MVMCP tonight or not
11/12: HS with lunch at 50's Prime
break at resort
Epcot for Illuminations?
11/13: Epcot with a Akershus breakfast
Break
MK for Elect parade and wishes
11/14: This is suupose to be an OFF day
Chef Mickeys for breakfast
?MVMCP?
11/15: Mk day with a hopeful BOG lunch
Not so sure about an evening park
11/16: AK with a Tusker House breakfast

Any ideas for tweaking this plan or which night for MVMCP. I know I still have to figure out some dining.
