Great reason to celebrate !!!I had somewhat of a similar situation in my field this year when the State wanted to cut6 % from our budget , this after 5 years of cuts would have spelt disaster for the Intellectually Disabled !!! The protests , letters , emails etc and some very convincing politicians convinced Cuomo to restore the cuts !! So my job is safer for now !!!
I know that time was so rough for you all. I'm SO GLAD DH got to keep his job even if it is different and now y'all get to plan a trip to Disney to celebrate. Woohoo!! Love the pictures from your last trip!
im here. thanks for the heads up.
this trip sounds like fun and a great reason to go to the disney magic.
you guys are going to have a blast, hope the mine ride is open for you by then.

Hey Kelly! So did I miss it or did you have to give up your plans to go to Disneyland due to your hubby's job being up in the air? I'm happy things have settled down and you have a Disney trip on the books! YAY! Subbing in!
missing? or waiting in the weeds for the perfect comment of yours to come and tease you about it?
Always call and see if you can get a new mattress. That is what we did and we got one. It was so uncomfortable but the new one was perfect.
I was laid off via text message. It just seems so wrong. LOL
That is good that most kept their jobs.
I love POP. Such a fun resort.
I am all caught up.

Every trip, I try to think of at least one new thing we can do at each park. Sometimes we end up doing those things and sometimes we don't, which is like 75% of the time
I figured we could discuss one park per update and we can each state our favorite ride there and what ride have we never done or have never taken our child, spouse, friend, et al on and plan on doing your next trip.
Lets start with Hollywood Studios or MGM as some prefer, as they do not like change, you know who you are
My absolute favorite ride there is The Great Movie Ride. Yes, it is outdated, yes it is hokey, but there is just something about it, just feels like home to me when I ride it the first time on every trip.

The ride or attraction that I would like to try this time is because of Trent, who has never been on it. He expressed interest in it for the first time this year, so I made him a promise we will take him on it next year. That attraction would be The Magic of Disney Animation.

Who wants to go next?
For my couple of posters who have never been to DW, feel free to chime in with your favorite and your ride to try at DL and DCA. I don't want anyone to feel left out.
My favorite ride is Pirates of the Caribbean. I have to ride it. I am like mad woman that is where I go first. I may ride the train to get there quicker but that is my HAVE to ride in Disneyland. For my something different ride I want to ride Splash. I have never been on it before. Lots of reasons why not to in the past. Nothing is stopping me now.
