Be Our Guest Lunch FastPass Thread [PLEASE read the FAQs in the first post!]

My 27-day window is coming up, and I have a question about pre-ordering food. I have two rooms, so I've made another email account and I understand all about using the second reservation number with the new email, etc. I've tested the system with both emails/reservation numbers and everything is working fine.

My question is: Once I select overlapping times for my FP+, will the reservation be confirmed and then will I have the option to pre-order food? Or will I have to pre-order food before I confirm the reservation time? I'm worried about being logged out of one account due to inactivity (before the reservation is confirmed) because I'm pre-ordering everyone's food on the other account.

Anyone have any experience with this? Thanks.

You can always go in and modify your food choices if the system is working correctly. What I would do is make one food selection and then go back in and modify once your other time is set. We've added or changed our food selections at least 4 times. There are 10 of us going next week and that's a lot of food selections for me to keep track of!:rotfl:

If you're worried, you can make the bookings and then go back and add food choices later.

when I made the FP+ last year for 2 rooms I had 2 browsers open and did one is each, Internet Explorer and the other in Firefox.
 
I'm trying to change my arrival window. When I select my new time and click next, it says "Congratulations your selections have been saved," but still shows my old time. I've tried it 5+ times and even logged out and logged back in. Any ideas? :confused3

I'm having the exact same issue. Anyone else? Any ideas?

I even moved mine to the previous day with a different time. It look the day change but kept the time. Changed it back to the day I wanted and a different time, it took the day but not the time.

Tried in both IE and Firefox, same result.

Now my cousins have a reservation window that ends 15 minutes before ours starts.

The day I want the FP for is finally tomorrow. I know how to sign in and I've seen availability for today so it took my 12 digit number, etc.

Anyone know about what time this opens? I'm not too concerned still times available for today at almost 2pm but I am usually up late 12p-1a but not an early riser (except for ROPE DROP!) so was wondering if it was worth trying for tonight.

I've read that it opens around 2am Florida time. I didn't try to get it until around 11:30am central and there was plenty available and still is.

I went back in and was able to get a different time. Maybe their IT fixed the issue? Try it again.

Thanks for the info. Yeah I rechecked the 16th which is what I can see today and I can get multiple times, so not worth staying up for unless I'm up. Almost last thing to check off list so just anxious to get it done.
 
I made the FP+ for 11am on 12/2 on my 27 day mark... selected the meals and everything and now when I log back in it has disappeared. Is my FP+ for BOG gone now?

Edited* Since booking BOG I added a day to the beginning of our reservation but it's at a different resort. Perhaps this is the reason for it not showing up? I have hope that it's still there!
 
Hello all...We have a family reunion trip next month, and one of our rooms got the email for the BOG lunch. We were not previously exploring this as a meal, but I was curious anyway, so I figured I would ask. Since the email only went to one room, it only shows the individuals in that room as able to make a reservation. Does this mean there is no chance at all for the rest of our family group?
 
I got my parents and my family's reservations for lunch no problem. When I tried my sister's account I logged into her account, type in the 10 digits and it says," guest is already registered". She does not have another account, any ideas? Thanks!

I got this figured out. To all that may have the same issue. On the screen where it asks for reservation ID and name, try every person in the traveling party. It finally accepted the account by typing in my brother in laws name, weird. But it worked!!!

each room needs to make their own FP+ using their room reservation number. They don't need the invite; just use the special link to book it.

Thanks for the info, I just saw this tonight. This is a define plan for my family. The kids are all taking French in school, and they all want to try some French food while we're there. This will give us a quick fix sometime during our trip.
 
Is there any way to modify your selection of the pork braised coq au vin style for no sauce? The menu on line shows that choice, but it does not come up when choosing your meals through the BOG FP site.

On that note -- can anyone really tell me the difference between the two? Thanks much.

In order to see all the selections, you have to indicate you have food allergies. I wanted the salad with chicken instead of tuna and never saw that as an option until I indicated I had food allergies.

I can't find anywhere that I would note that. Maybe it's because I've already made all my selections :confused3

I wish this had worked for me. I tried every one of our names as well as different emails- and it always pulls the same - the next 7 days out. I was looking to book on Nov 22....27 days out from Dec 19, but due to this glitch I will have to wait until Dec 13 instead. I doubt there will be any FP+ windows left at that point. :worried:

Yeah that is strange, but the dates for your reservation in MDE display correctly with the same reservation number? Honestly I'd try to get a dinner res there, I doubt lunch will be there :sad:

Yes. It's just the BOG lunch site that's a problem. :mad: We do have a dinner ADR there but would prefer to do lunch.
