Okay, I've been following along, trying to get in on some of these deals to save on Disney gc's! So far I've done okay, buying Target gc's from Raise, and then buying the Disney gc's at Target, getting the 5% there. I'm a little confused on the newest EBay deal, but no matter I guess as I didn't get any email about 5x eBay bucks, so can't do it anyway, lol. But, thank you to all who share, help, and explain the newest deals as they come along! It was exciting to help DD25 buy $800.00 in Disney gc's, going thru Raise and Target, only spending $716! She was very happy! I'm excited to get some deals for our December trip, too, hopefully even better!
So, I was paying my Verizon bill today and saw that I had rewards there, about 154,200. I had pretty much forgotten about the Verizon rewards. I decided to check and see if they offered gift cards and they do! I looked for Target gc's or somewhere I could possibly buy them. No Target cards, but they do have CVS gift cards with 10% discount. I called my local CVS to ask if you could buy a Target gift card with a CVS card. At first the guy said yeah he would think so, so I asked him to check for sure so he checked with manager. They really don't know either way! They said they'd just have to try it and see. They said that some cards are allowed to be purchased with the store cards, but others are not, that each card has their own rules on how they need to be paid for. So, they said I'd just have to try and see what happens. Hmm, not sure I wanna buy a CVS gc just to see, but I guess I'd still be getting 10% off my purchases and I could just buy a $50 card for $45 and buy things I need there till the card is used up if it didn't work on the Target cards.
Has anyone else used a CVS gc to buy a Target gift card? That'd be 15% then, getting the Disney cards at Target with the extra 5% discount! Not the biggest discount, but pretty good for sure! Anyone with any experience using CVS cards to buy Target cards? TIA!!
