The morning event was always requiring a separate park ticket to enter…how else would they get you out of the park once the park opened up to regular guests??
It is the evening, "After Dark" event that does NOT require a separate park ticket.
so disney is adding an event that has no impact to your vacation and you are going to cancel? sounds good to me.
Perhaps "require" is a strong word, but I have been told that making ADRs that far in advance is necessary if you want to ensure certain experiences like BOG meals - is that incorrect? Because I would love for that to NOT be the case!
We would like to go to Atlantis some day!!! That place looks amazing!!I agree! We haven't done the full park hopper Disney experience since my girls from 2 & 4 (MK 4&6, DL 6&8). They are finally at the ages where we can take total advantage of Park Hopping and FP (7&9) and I just started my planning stage for Mid-August to end the summer with a bang. I have been so excited up until yesterday when I started reading all posts on changes coming. I don't know what to expect. I told my DH last night that maybe we should just cancel and go to Atlantis! The more I read, the more tempted I am! I will always remember when my 2 year old was scared during the fireworks on our first visit to WDW - we were standing next to an ice-cream cart and a CM saw her fear and opened up a mickey bar and just handed it to her. That would never happen now - the magic seems to have faded....#MONEYHUNGRYGREED!
Anyone find out just how many tickets will be sold for the Early Magic Morning thing and or the After Hours thing. I sure would like to know what Disney considers " limited" this way I can figure our how much this is going to affect our MK day grrrrrrrrr!!!
Unbelievable!!! Sounds crazy that people would see 1hour 15 minutes and 3 rides being worth 70 bucks!!Disney isn't going to release any numbers so nobody will be able to tell you, all anyone can do is guess.
This morning all tickets were sold out for the morning events, but someone just posted that there are more available now. My guess is Disney only released some to see how much interest there was in the events, since they sold, they released more. Who knows how many more times they will do that.

They do get breakfast too, so minus the cost of that its not outrageous (In Disney terms LOL). Depending on how many people and how many times you got to ride the 3 rides it could be great for those who love those attractions. I'm not an RD person, but I admit the thought of being able to ride Pan a bunch of times without having to wait 30+ minutes is appealing.
I like the idea of it for my two teens. My daughter especially LOVES 7dmt and says she would ride it 10 times in a day if she had the chance. However, I'm not sure we would find $140 in the budget for the two of them or $210 for three of us after paying for everything else just to get there.
I've read rumors that speculate between 400 and 750 (based on PVH's occupancy). This theory makes sense, since I would believe that most guests will be eating between 9 and 10.Anyone find out just how many tickets will be sold for the Early Magic Morning thing and or the After Hours thing. I think its probably one of those splurges that families do when there. I don't do alot of extras, we did MNSSHP once and the dessert party once so I would consider this event something like that. I don't have to worry though, none of my family would even be interested in getting up early enough for it so it would only cost me $70
TSMM and Star Tours plus a couple of character meet and greets and breakfast at the ABC Commissary. Am I the only one who thinks this is one park not worth the EMM price? Here we go again! Hollywood studios is now offering EMM too!
