***1st Week of December Thread ADR Plans, Park Hours, and dealing with Pop Warner***

Someone said something about being annoyed at the blackish episode... If I remember correctly it was @areno79... Just wanted to say the planner in me feels the exact same way! Lol! DH couldn't figure why I did not enjoy the episode as much as he thought I would :rotfl:

thanks. one more stuck to go, haven't hurled and no blown veins. i guess that's as much as I can expect. catching up on other parts of the dis since this thread is quiet atm
Lol yes, I've been going around the dining board a bit since it's quiet here. I'm waiting for DH and DS to finish swimming class so I have a good half an hour to poke around :p

By the way, did you think about visiting WL on the morning of MVMCP? Wouldn't that be easier than getting up earlier on departure day?

we could do that. wonder if kiddo would give up boma for wcc? i love boma but maybe not enough to go to extraordinary measures. hmm.

I had also been wanting to try trails end but thought the dinner menu was too close to hddr. maybe we'll do breakfast there and stop at wl on the way back. they also have biscuits and gravy which kiddo has been wanting to try and was sad was off the menu at GG. this is an oop meal.

opinions?

If go for the biscuits and gravy. Not sure about YOUR Island but on my (Long) Island they are all but nonexistent in local restaurants. This is one dish I miss from my childhood in FL

It is pretty quiet this morning. I have so much stuff I should be doing, but there was a Pirates of the Carribean movie on and I got sucked in. Now SW Episode I is starting, but I really have to get up and do things before my parents come visit later today. Tomorrow will be my day to focus on Disney planning along with cooking/canning. I have a couple bushels of tomatoes from the garden to turn into sauce. And while that's cooking down, I need to get my FP plan together for Wednesday. I think it should be fairly painless, hopefully.

Off to the barn to go trim some horsey hooves. At least it's much cooler out today! I am so tired of the 80+ degree days. I hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday!

lol there is a place called biscuits here and i forgot I let him try mine when I ordered it. it was just OK though but he liked it. leaning towards wcc and letting him get a shake with breakfast (planning 10am so kind of brunch lol) to be coolest mom ever

@Lisa F just re-read your post and realized no more biscuits and gravy. Sorry

Edit: I read it a 3rd time and realized I was correct the first time. Cooking pancakes, loading dishwasher, chasing a toddler around house, AND posting here is 1 too many tasks for me it seems........so I let the toddler do his thing and focused on the important stuff:joker:

The recent reviews of trails end brunch really makes me want to consider it. (I've seen two recent ones on the reviews board) Sadly I really have nowhere to squeeze it in for now ;) trails end looks like it's one of those that a whole lot of people really like and consider as a hidden gem. I think that it may be easier to get there than AKL too (I know you have a car but you can just ride the monorail then the boat. It's like an adventure on its own) :P

Edit: just saw your post, I guess you're considering WCC and not trails end. Oops

considering both. no brunch on Thursday but with so many open ADRs every 15 minutes at WCC we could probably go whenever and get seated.

we will be at ft. wilderness for HDDR already so I don't feel the need to go a second time. WCC looks like fun, similar menu, kiddo could get the skillet and get all he can eat Mickey waffles, bacon and biscuits and gravy and skip the eggs, it's only $3 more than Mickey waffles straight up. i can see how I feel, the rest of their menu looks alright. i just don't see the need for the extra stop. i have to be ok with giving up boma though and so does kiddo.

yes both choices have it! boat to wl sounds good to me right now.

Anyone want to play Would You Rather? :D

Plan A:
AK until 3:30ish?
CRT @4:45p (party night)
A couple of MK rides (timing dependent)
Check out GF decorations
Contemporary at 8:30 for Pirates and Pals

Plan B:
AK until 2:30ish?
HDDR 4:15p show
Check out Wilderness Lodge decorations
Contemporary at 8:30 for Pirates and Pals

We'll be able to see resort decorations at both resorts at times other than these, so that isn't a now-or-never type thing. :) But an ADR choice needs to be made, and that IS a this trip or next time decision. Any thoughts?

Is crt important to you and your kids? I remember someone mentioning it's a must for them. If not I would pick plan B :)

Edit: if you're going to be on the dining plan though, I would pick crt.

I'm thinkin' plan B. Only because it might be bittersweet to enter MK ~4:15, have dinner at CRT, then only have 1 hour max. to hang in MK before Mickey and his gang give you the big ol' boot out of there at 7:00. Of course I not sure what your other park days look like. I suppose if your trying to get a little more MK time in wherever you can than plan A would be the way to go..........so basically I'm no help!

I guess which would the kids like more CRT or HDDR? For us it's CRT this trip...

Take a family vote. Both are great options
