***Official November 2016 Thread***

have been checking Accuweather everyday, highs from 69 (our AK day) to 80 degrees. The kids are each packing 2 bathing suits; they plan to use the pool; not me. We have one day planned at Typhoon Lagoon, not sure how that will go, I did make FP+ for that day just in case

still way too early but weather.com has the first 3 park days of our trip warmer, mid 70s

I can't wait for Friday!! Our boys are so excited for their 11 day countdown....however, they don't know we are actually leaving on Friday...they think we go on Nov 12th!! I am so excited for their surprise...this way they have been able to plan and be involved but I still get to surprise them too! We start our drive down and arrive at Pop Century on Sunday! :woohoo:

We're trying to decide the same. My husband and I are both vegetarians, and now it looks like there are no entree options for us at all. We'd be using a table service credit to just get salad and macaroni and cheese. That's a terrible waste.

I think we might go get the veggie chili at CHH as a quick-service, and then just go sit in LTT with our families while they eat. I know it will be a waste of a seat for Disney since we won't order anything, but I don't feel too bad since they're changing the menu last minute on people. Maybe we'll get the toffee cake for dessert though. DOes anyone know if we can just use a snack credit for dessert?

I was thinking we might grab lunch at CHH and then just get the toffee cake for dessert at LTT! It's a shame - we were looking forward to it, but the a la carte items don't really interest us and since we're not on the dining plan, the platters aren't a good value, especially for lunch.

Anyone at Disney now? How is the weather? Hot humid? I keep checking weather and it seems unusually warm! I am thinking I should pack some shorts. Blah... Not what I was hoping for in Nov.
Thanks for your response!
Have a magical vacation!!:wizard:

I have a weather related question too- we are going the 12th- 19th. Any Florida natives out there? If it is a low of 60 at night- will that require sweatshirts and pants or does the humidity keep it a warmer feel than 60 in New York? I am concerned about Illuminations and MVMCP especially! TIA!

It was very warm last year! I think normal highs are in the low 80's, high 70's. When it's in the 60's, it can feel pretty cool. But on our trip last year, even if the early mornings, we never needed any coats or sweatshirts.

I'm not a native, but I do travel there quite often...at night I would definitely think about a long sleeve shirt or a sweatshirt. If you aren't prone to being cold you should be fine with just that.
