Checkout dates don't matter for free dining. Just go ahead and book what you really want now. If it lets you book 9/16- 9/26 it should let you book 9/16- 9/23. The only exception would be if you tried to book less than the minimum number of nights. You cannot ever modify a FD reservation to do that.

They have been making it harder to cut back on number of days, you can add easily but it's harder to remove days.

That's when we are staying - December 15th - 22nd. I was trying to get for Pop and was on the minute it went live, but it already said "no availability" for any rooms. I think that's super weird! I'm going to keep my eye out for Pop though. I'm not giving up on it being available at some point.....maybe?!

That happened to me last year for the end of September, POP was sold out for our week. We were never able to get it but I have faith and pixie dust that you will be able to.

Well my TA wasn't able to snag FD at All Star Sports this morning. A little while ago I got on the WDW site and saw that CBR had FD availability. I emailed my TA and she switched it for me. I figure, with the FD included, it will only be about $150.00 more for the week for CBR. I can live with that. One question. Since CBR's food court will be closed when we're there, will the QS dining work at any resort food court?

When I modified my CBR reservation I was told I had to switch to a pirate room (I had a standard) in order to qualify for free dining. But I see a lot of people on here saying that they got free dining with a standard room. To those of you who got FD for CBR did they make you switch to a pirate room?

There was no availability all day at CBR, I finally got through at 1:00pm on the phone and the CM said there was only pirate rooms left for my stay 8/25-9/2, no more Standard rooms left for FD. I was refreshing the website all day and Standard CBR rooms that were previously unavailable were showing available for my dates around 3:00 PM ET. I modified my existing reservation from a preferred room to get the Standard with FD.

I booked 3 pirate rooms at CBR around 6:00 AM. I added Memory Maker to my room. We wanted standard rooms. My wonderful mother spent the entire day checking the site for standard room availability. Finally by 3:00 PM she was able to book the 3rd new standard room reservations. I am so proud she booked everything by herself! She came to my house at 4:00 this morning to watch me work magic....LOL. If I canceled the reservation that had the Memory Maker do I need to repurchase it? I think I read somewhere that it transfers.

I tried this a few years ago and was told that it was not allowed - I had to keep the Hopper. Of course it is possible that I had one of "those" folks at Guest Services who just didn't know what they were doing. Without better guidance, I just added the days and went about my business.

Anyone have success changing a Hopper to a Base ticket by adding days and bridging?

I got fd for the first time today!! Whooo. My question is, it said you only had to do 2 day hopper passes, right now we have 4 day park hoppers . Is there anyway I can take the park hopper off 2 of them?? We don't plan on hopping around.

I'm kind of disappointed with Disney Visa. i got it specifically because i heard of the "perks" of early FD and RO notifications and it looks like they are WAY behind the curve. At least they still let you collect points for a gift card.

Yeah but the points aren't as good as a regular cash back card. I like my Disney Visa, but if you don't get early notice for this stuff, it's just a credit card with Mickey on it.

The TA website was a hot mess this morning I couldn't even get it to work until almost 11am!

My TA after several attempts finally called the TA line and stayed on hold for 45 minutes before being able to modify our reservation. I'm willing to forgive her for turning up late to work today because I got what I wanted.

The Park Hopper is a flat rate for your entire ticket. You cannot remove Park Hopper for less days than you ticket is for.

Yes you will only get it for the one night.

Sorry so late. I booked sports instead of music. I think you were helping me on ******* find info on pop warner. I haven't canceled yet because I really want to go, but am incredibly nervous of keep it.

Tried since 7 to call ( before school, I teach K) all thru lunch and after school. Nothing but busy signals.
got thru on my way home. Put in my information, waited on hold for 20 minutes and got cut off! Nothing but busy signals since!

Ok so I just did a test to see if they do inflate prices for FD and I don't think they do. I booked Nov 14-18, POP standard room with 4 day PH & not upgrading the DP and after taxes it came to $1008.67. I just did the exact same package with no discounts and it was the exact same price.

Last time I stayed at Music it was during school trip season. There were at least 5 different middle school band groups. Lines for resort meals were a bit long if you went during peak times but I was really impressed with how well behaved the children were. I imagine Pop Warner would be a similar level of crazy (busy but not oppressive). I say keep it (Sports > Music imho)! Why are you nervous?
