I completely agree with everyone who has posted similar messages. Disney is all about the little details, and anything which reduces the immersive theming is a bad thing. They look so stark, featureless and sterile, why not at least produce printed sheet and pillowcase designs to match the decor for heaven's sake. What comes next, rooms with white plastic wipe-clear walls, floors and furnishings?
Actually, I'm pretty sure that the next set of Port Orleans room refurbs (due to start at French Quarter later in the year) will see the carpets removed in favour of hard flooring, and possibly the vanity-area curtains being replaced with shutters. But on the plus side, the TVs may be getting bigger and more smart-featured. We'll see anyway, nothing at Disney is certain until its done.

We see so many people here saying that they had to drop down from a Deluxe resort due to the price hikes, who end up loving POR as much or even more than their previously preferred Deluxe.
Great luck with that pixie-dust upgrade, really nice room location.
I think the biggest loss in Accessible AB rooms, especially for families, is the lack of the fold-down Murphy bed which no longer fits once that extra wardrobe is in the room.
