Disney's Club Level (CL) Information & Questions

We finished the tour downstairs of the Jambo House lobby by the lion rock:

We then headed to Animal Kingdom park for a few minutes before our late lunch at Sanaa. (We hadn’t visited that park yet)
Sanaa was a first for us. Painted Lemur drink...

It was way too much food and we are still so full we skipped the twilight offerings tonight, but highly recommend Sanaa.

I will try to post more lounge offerings later. Oh, one other thing I didn’t know was that you could check out DVDs from the club level desk to watch in your room. DD asked to see choices and we were handed a big binder of titles to choose from. You can check out 2 dvds at a time and return prior to check out.

Haha, I know! I was so jealous of their experience! It's really insanity. I never wrote about this but my 2 boys went to grab sodas in the lounge. They had bathing suits (dry, we were getting ready for the pool) and tshirts on . Yds said an older woman yelled at him and told him bathing suits weren't appropriate for the lounge. He said there were workers right there who heard it. I didn't believe it at first but ods confirmed. The poor kid qas afraid of the lounge the rest of the week. I didn't know this until the end of the week. I thought he was just being lazy by asking us to go and thought ods was just being nice by always offering to get him stuff. I know technically bathing suits aren't allowed, but I saw tons of people in them and his was dry, could have been shorts. I wish he told me right away so I could have addressed it. Oh, he had shoes on too.
Hiya Jods! Here’s hoping to all good experiences this year! I was so worried about all the negative BCs reviews last year I reached out to my TA to change hotels. So glad there was no availablity to move.

That’s ridiculous someone would have said something on dry bathing suits, t-shirt’s and shoes. Stink eye to them.

We just finished up the Sense of Africa tour and it was absolute amazing! Started off for early breakfast at Boma and then onto the animals. We went to thr barns and fed/petted the Okapi and then to the giraffe barn to feed them. Also fed the ostrich and got to watch the red river hogs. No pics yet - since it was backstage but were given a photopass that should be loaded in the next couple days. I am so impressed with AKL and am thoroughly enjoying!

Sounds like a great tour! Glad you're having a great time and enjoying AKL :wizard:.

Had a minute to upload some pics from my camera to my phone.

Love all the pics, thanks for sharing :flower3:.

Welcome back @mickeynut1! So glad your trip was wonderful. I’ve been swamped lately and only checking in occasionally but every time I was hoping to hear about your girls trip.

Here’s to planning the next one! :daisy:

Thank you so much :goodvibes. We had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed BWI CL. I upgraded to an AP, so I'm thinking of possibly trying to squeeze in a 3-4 night Aug trip before my Oct trip :D. Would love to try AKL CL, but sadly no availability for any combination of dates I've tried so far. Not a big deal, though, because there is availability at BWI CL and I wouldn't hesitate to go back there ;).

@JessietheNCCowgirl I love the pictures. We get there in August for our first AK CL stay and we can't wait. We want to do a tour but cannot figure out which one. Sanaa and Boma Breakfast are two of our favorite meals at Disney. Enjoy the rest of the trip!

August will be here before you know it! Hope you have a great time :).

I am so excited about going back to the Poly- and am looking forward to giving their CL another shot. We love the location of the Hawaii building, proximity to TTC, and pools/vibe- but our last trip to Poly CL (2 years ago) was meh. CMs were cold and unhelpful, lounge offerings ranged from poor to sad, and alcohol offerings were on lockdown prior to 5pm. For those of you that have had POLY CL experiences over the past few years- how has this changed? On our of our BWI stays, the CMs in the CL lounge mentioned that they were training the Poly CL and GF CL staff on food ordering and chef offerings.. Since our last Poly stay- we have been to GF RPC/SL, BWI CL, CR ACL, and AKL CL. We are debating on the dining plan- past few CL stays we haven't had to do it bc the lounge offerings were heavy enough to warrant a meal substitution to pair with our TS plans.

We were at the Poly CL for the past 3 years and last summer the offerings were much better than in other years. MUCH better! They had a protein every morning and some decent appetizers at night. I will say the BWI, GF and BC have better offerings than the Poly but the Poly was much better than in previous years. I will also say (except for the chef) the CL CMs were much nicer than in previous years - so maybe the training worked. Enjoy we love the Poly.

We were there 2 years ago as well. In terms of alcohol being on lockdown, we drank many a longboard all day long lol. We just asked a cm and they had no problem getting them for us. They would give me two, one to bring back to my husband.

Last night I rebooked my Sept BW CL reservation with AP discount and saved over $500. That pays for the “extra” night that I added on last month. So excited! I don’t want to wish summer away, but can’t wait for September!

Why did you rebook? Did you recently become an AP holder? I just checked my December reservation, as an AP holder...and I got the old "there are no other available offers for your current date range".

This is good to hear. I'm trying Poly CL in October, so hoping for a good experience :goodvibes.

This was how it was at BWI CL last week. The CMs never had a problem with guests asking for something during an off service time ;).

Congrats on the discount, that's quite a savings! I hear ya on not wishing summer away, but I can't wait until Oct comes around for my trip....lol. Hope you have a great trip :wizard:.

The discounts only go into early October. I Booked this originally when Enchanted room discount came out at 25% with the intention of rebooking as a B.B. when we were there in May. No go. No B.B. for CL during our dates. This discount is actually 35%, so I am very happy with that. This will be my 4th trip on this AP and I have not been able to use AP discount on any of them...I had other discounts, but not AP. Had to rebook because my original was a “basic package” (no tickets) but this is “true” room only.
