Motivation Monday
After just losing 20 pounds, I'm pretty much in the pants falling off phase. My jeans all still fit when I first put them on, but get progressively looser as the day goes on, and by the end of the day I don't have to even unzip them to take them off. I'm sure I'm looking pretty sloppy, so I do need to do something soon.
Saturday I easily got my steps in, running around doing errands and the such. Sunday I also spent a good deal of time sitting/knitting watching football. I'm not sure how the Seahawks kept the score close because they didn't seem to be playing all that well. Plus, with one of the premier quarterbacks in the league I don't understand why we don't invest in a front line to protect him... but that's just me.
It's a full work week this week, except that Wednesday afternoon we go the the baseball game. It's supposed to be rainy, so the roof will be closed... better that than the smoke that was so heavy the first time we were supposed to go. There are a couple challenges laying ahead this week, but over all it should be a good one.
Edited to add: Over the weekend I watched the CNN special on Ruth Bader Ginsburg - holy cow! I really didn't know a lot about her at all... I highly recommend watching it. Today I'm facing a challenge with someone at work who's, well, kind of a jerk even on his good days and the past two days has been down right awful. I'm navigating my way thru using my "How does it get better than this?" and "What else is possible?" mantras, but also RBG's advice to never get angry. And both are really helping.
