I love credit cards so much!

The CIP looks like one of the best cash back reward cards. How picky are they with the Business owner part of it? Do you have to be a business owner to qualify?

How do you load them? Thanks
I think she means that she linked the offers. When you go into the cashback offers and then open an offer, say Staples, on the next screen you need to link the offer. You can't just save the offers. The offers will attach to all of the credit cards you have linked to your account. It's really pretty easy. Yesterday the site was experiencing problems which was driving people crazy since they have some really good offers currently.

Many of us have a "business." DH and I sell a lot of collectibles on eBay as our businesses. Make sure your SSN where it asks for the EIN and use your name JOHN SMITH for the business name.

This is allowed? Is this the better card to go with than a CSP or Capital One Savor? I’m looking for a decent cash bonus but also continued rewards and 0 foreign transaction fees. I am also looking into the Discover rewards for the first year double your rewards offer. We pay our cards off each month and currently use a Marriott rewards and a Disney Visa. Both have served well, but neither offer a 0 foreign transaction fee, at least I don’t think they do??

The Savor isn't necessarily a bad card, and with your limited number of cards, you could likely get it. But Capitol One pulls all 3 credit bureaus, which is annoying. The CSP is likely your better bet here. You could also look at the CSR instead of the CSP - same bonus, higher earning from dining spend, higher annual fee but travel credit included.

As a newbie, I'm trying not to get too bummed about not using URs for Disney. I didn't even know it was possible to use URs for Disney until a few weeks ago, so basicslly I'm back to square 1.

I'm thinking my new plan going forward is to obtain a SW CP. Before that changes as well?? Here's the plan:
  • Apply for inflight SW offer for 50K RR on November 23.
  • Apply for SW Biz late January
I got the CIP in August. So ultimately it will look like CIP > 90 days > SW Pers > 60 days > SW Biz. I'm thinking this will be ok.

I'm also kicking around the idea of getting the CSP for P2 soon. I met the MSR for my CIP in about 3 days so that won't be an issue. Then again, I don't have a clear plan of what I'm going to use these URs for. Hmm..
I think your plan is a good one

So looking at some of the DPs in Reddit, it looks like Chase MSR bonuses are taking right at around 28-30 days to go pending. Mine was exactly 30 days and I see in the DP thread that someone else was at 28. Maybe this is the new normal.

So if I've clicked on the offer to add it, and I go into it and there's a checkmark saying "cash back linked" I should be good? I have one cc linked on my account, but I didn't add the cc to each offer.

Thanks! Don't want to mess this up!

Got my Amex Plat today. Wow, the packaging is so impressive and the card feels so solid. I'm in love

Few questions for anyone who knows...How do I add my teens as 'Gold' card holders? This is free, correct? And they will be able to get pre-check? Do they also get the lounge access? Can I add anyone, or only household members? Wondering specifically about my mom and stepdad.

Congrats!party: on the new awesome Amex Plat!

@Lain answered your questions as I would have (had I not gone to bed at 5:45 pm and awakened at 6:15 am:faint:). I'd just echo the benefit of the 3 AUs on the platinum for $175 (I've had DD, DH and DM) for two years and the only down side is DH is now sort of a lounge lord a la @calypso726 DH the plane princess :)

Also...I echo holding off gold AUs if you can until they offer the 5K bonus. I did this for DF's AU. Again this year I received the offer for 5K for each AU but have a small family and couldn't take advantage of it...so very sad. Also an idea for your AU's...I keep all of mine in a separate wallet (the AU wallet) in my desk and then when we go on a trip or I need to take advantage of an Amex offer, pull it out and use it. I have everyone trained to hold out their hand for their plats before we go on a trip :) Might be easier for you to do this with kiddos, parents, etc. Trust but control is my motto :)

Anyway CONGRATS again :cheer2:

Yep! You should be good to go. I typically receive notification from RMN that I have used the offer before or as I am walking out the store door.

in-app notification or email?
In-app. The message pops on my iPhone from RMN. I'm going to have to see what happens with DH's since I have myself logged into the app on my phone so I might have to logout and login with his username and PW to verify that the offer took. You should have received emails though when you linked the offer.

another wwyd question involving (yet another) friend with some questions(not kidding, they all ask at once it seems) now I'm hestitating before I rec. Chase (esp till I hear if people ar getting their points bonuses)
****young couple- mid twenties, has their own business for about a year (a real one) use a debit card for the business(!) and wife has one cc opened in 7/16 (ETA Macy's!) I don't know credit score yet- she pays rent thru venmo tho.
she's looking for SWA points, I sent her to read some stuff, she came back asking about the cp. I'd like to see her DH open a biz card of some sort- how would they fill that app out,and which one to start them off?probably by next week..... if her DH did a swa biz app now, she could still get one in jan, right?
Since she's focused on SWA I naturally thought of chase - for her the swa biz+ pers for the cp dec/jan is a no brainer..before then tho....what order is recommended? I love the csp for newbs where would that fit in?
I'd like to lay out a few cards for her to go for(depending on cs of course) and would LOVE some input!
(disclaimer, I realize lots of things up in the air currently,I will be explaining that also, just need some pointers) thanks!

Thanks--guess I re-able the popups for RMN (I default to disable lol). I did receive emails when I linked the offers. I also received an email when the offer moved from pending to approved status, but that took a long 10 days. Is 10 days a common length of time for a transaction to be approved?
