I love credit cards so much!

I read the AF different when I looked that up, it's 50 AF with 25 per card. I took that as still $75 for me since my card, in addition to others, would get the $25 fee as well. I admit I didn't research it further as I was ok with that since that makes it the same as the personal but without increasing my x/24 count :) But if it's not that's even better.

Reading it again - Low annual fee of $50 for the company and $25 per card✝. Yeah, I see where I probably misunderstood what they meant. I saw it as $50 for the company card and $25 for each employee card. But that would seem odd thinking about it more.

Safe to assume magical rates is code for something??? We're planning a trip for the end of February so any information that CAN be shared, would be appreciated.

Could for one of the agencies that isn't allowed to be discussed on the Dis. Guessing that phrase, if googled, would get you what you're looking for. Or it might be on the reddit. It's not something that is supposed to be in PM's either, just like a PM isn't a way around doing referrals.

The info cannot be shared on the board. You can check DISchurners. Some of us who have used this agency have names and emails posted there.

You can also try googling a few key words!

@Mopedmom1 I am wait until statement closes and then pay bill usually but had to make partial payment when was trying to meet spend on CIP. No problem at all. Will it let you pay any less as a partial? Or is only option the whole amount? Is the CSR your only Chase card now? If you have others can you make partial payments on them?

Check the Churning for Disney thread on Dischurners and you will see @SouthFayetteFan’s post on magical rates.

@eeyoreland

Oooooo we are so mysterious ;)

DISchurners is the key to making all your dreams come true LOL!

If you aren’t able to find it or want to discuss send me a PM on Reddit.

Can you purchase a GC with a CC at BJs? This is very tempting and a sweet deal for 4Q Discover!

What is OV?
I do believe you can, they haven't added any signage on my locations indicating otherwise. Could be a YMMV situation but I can't imagine it's hardcoded. OV is OneVanilla, it's the reloadable version if I recall correctly. It's in a different packaging so it's noticable.

Hit Walgreens and Home Depot for RMN deals. 2 $25 Disney GCs for $15 each. Both pending in RMN app. 40% off, I’ll take it. Will try Staples later in the week as the closest one could take 30+ minute drive one way. I’m trying to find a more convenient location, but they closed many Staples around here.

Obviously my big benefit here is the ability to acquire Disney GCs at a 12% discount through our fuel perks program.

That’s a great return. I try to stack deals and usually shoot for at least 15%. See above. Q4 I’ll stack Disney GCs at Sam’s on my Discover (10% first year). I’ve also gotten a few GCs free with TY points or Shopkick.

This is the same for us. We used to have one five mins away. I have no idea why they closed that store as the area is very busy. The next closest Staples was like 15 mins away. They closed it too. Now it is a 30min drive one way. I'm probably going to do it though but I may wait until Friday when my boys go to school all day.

I'm so dumb.
Went into Best Buy tonight since the cat ate my laptop cord. :headache: It suddenly occurred to me that I should try shop kick. Sure enough, 50 walk in kicks. Then I realized I hadn't used shop kick for any of my BB trips for the amex/SB deal. :headache::headache::sad2:

Yup...I need a new one every couple years...$70 for a cord is nuts. One day I swear one of them will get a shock. Does it taste that good?

no, we are staying at the doubletree. It is across the street from the lift. It has 2 king beds and a sleeper sofa for 60k hilton a night/5th night free.
The residence Inn I was looking at requires a shuttle or walking several blocks with ski equipment. And it is a cat 5 and I haven't tried upgrading my cert but I am guessing it isn't gonna happen.

We stayed there over the summer! Really large rooms. Not so great options for breakfast though. Take the kids to Eric's downtown, its part pizza joint part arcade.

I have the DIS no fee and the CIP. I know I have been able to make partial payments on SOME cards before, just not sure if it was a Chase card. Nothing else has balances as I am trying to get everything taken care of before my husband has surgery. When I go to pay I have 2 options: Pay full amount, or "Other Amount." It wont let me click on "Other Amount." I wanted to pay down my balance because, 1. Don't want the high amount being reported to CS, 2.Want a nice even number to figure out when I have met MSR, and 3. If everything goes sideways with surgery and I end up with a worst case scenario and am too preoccupied to remember to pay the bill I would much rather owe interest on 1k instead of 4k.

Well I am far from an expert but it seems to me that as long as you can still use the card on it to make other charges you should be ok. (I.e. Chase not shutting it down). It does seem weird though. Maybe you should try calling and see if you can do it that way. It could just be a glitch.

I am so sorry. My DH has had his share of surgeries and I understand it can be worrisome. Dealing with this is all you need!

As a newbie, I'm trying not to get too bummed about not using URs for Disney. I didn't even know it was possible to use URs for Disney until a few weeks ago, so basicslly I'm back to square 1.

I'm thinking my new plan going forward is to obtain a SW CP. Before that changes as well?? Here's the plan:
  • Apply for inflight SW offer for 50K RR on November 23.
  • Apply for SW Biz late January
I got the CIP in August. So ultimately it will look like CIP > 90 days > SW Pers > 60 days > SW Biz. I'm thinking this will be ok.

I'm also kicking around the idea of getting the CSP for P2 soon. I met the MSR for my CIP in about 3 days so that won't be an issue. Then again, I don't have a clear plan of what I'm going to use these URs for. Hmm..
