Official Wine & Dine 2018

And now there is no shoe sponsor. So champion or cotton crappy shirts?

New balance wasn’t giving shoes away as part of the race registration so and why would you assume a change in shirt sponser equals “crappy cotton shirts”

The point is things can change. Other race organizations have made changes over the years between Nike, Champion, Adidas ASICS etc with generally positive results.

Naw it would be up to the runners to demand more from RD for real change to occur.

:confused3

I have no problem with the Champion shirts, and I certainly have seen no sizing discrepancies because I order the same styles in bulk for my Etsy business. Unfortunate luck for you that they're so wildly different across the color ways.

I don't know if you know this, but RunDisney isn't *quite* like other race organizations. World Majors, Rock n Roll, Ragnar, etc., don't have to fall in line with higher-level corporate sponsorships or building/property sponsors where the races are held. You know - like how the Marathon goes through Champions Stadium at WWoS? That kinda stuff. But, again, if you have feedback and leads on potential sponsors I gave you the email address where you could get direct contact!

Yea unfortunately my shirts are all over the place over at least 15 rd race weekends. I always get large and I just never know what I’m going to get regardless of short/long sleeve. Dark colors always seem smaller than reds, blues and that wonderful yellow and orange from last years W&D and avenger weekend.

Come on...It’s all about money. Champion is cheap. Whomever Disney switched the race jacket vendor to at this years Star Wars was a major step up from the typical champion pre order. Hopefully the preorder jacket for W&D is the same.

If you ever get the “nicer” shirts, don’t complain about the race fees going up then.

Pre-order jackets are Champion and then Expo available jackets are either Champion or an in-house brand.

And also about the colors, I haven't noticed a difference between dark colors and primaries. I actually have a full lot of this year's catalog so I'll be happy to take a picture and show you. They're all machine cut and sewn, so there is generally less than a centimeter difference. You might check the tags on the inside of the shirts to see if by chance you had a different lot number? I've been working with Champion products for years and have never noticed a cut difference other than sleeve difference in long sleeve lengths from the white Double-Dry from the 2016 catalog. But, you know, :confused3

Also - "cheap" is relative. The long-sleeve Champion shirts are $11.58/piece - and that's for a blank order of over 1000 units. They still have to be designed and silk-screened, which Disney still has to pay someone to do - even if it's another department of the same company.

Star Wars preorder was not champion this year.
