Phone charging in the parks

I just ordered a charging phone case but I’m still worried about my phone not lasting all day. Are there places in the park for charging phones?

I take a small power bank with me and it works great. I think it was about $6.99. I know there are really expensive ones out there, but my little cheapie works perfectly! I usually end up needing to charge it around early evening and then the charge from the power bank lasts until we're back at the resort for the night.

Why spend expensive Disney time huddled around an occasional outlet?
The fuel rod is the easy, but expensive way to have extra power on the go. Or just buy another portable charging battery.

I was thinking of doing it while eating or just taking a break.

I have a bunch of those power banks so I guess I will bring one, or 2 (for DDs phone too). I was trying to cut down on stuff but I guess after all of the stuff that will be needed for DGS what more is a small power bank?

Thanks everyone!

I don’t use fuelrod but I do carry a bigger batter. It’s about 20000 mAH and lasts me at least 3-4 days in the parks before the battery needs to be recharged. It’s definitely bulkier than a fuelrod but I typically have a backpack with me anyways.

There are charging ports outside the Tangled restrooms.

We always keep this in our bag.

I bring a battery pack and usually throw in a cord/plug just in case. I can charge it while I’m eating or takin a break.

Most important thing, though, is to put your phone on low power mode (on an iPhone, not sure if it’s called something else on an Android). It turns off a lot of background updating that will help keep your battery.

There are also ports near Pete’s silly sideshow with seating. Also Columbia harbor house has normal outlets near many of thryr tables. If you can be without a phone for a while guest services will charge it for yoy

There use to be one by the now closed Tomorrowland arcade, too. But I assume it doesnt exist anymore? Look at that surge protector!!!

My last trip I found the charging logs by the Tangled bathrooms but only had the USB cord and not the electrical plug in part.

Arcade? Wreck it Ralph that thing put in Sugar Rushes, Tapper, Felix Fix It Jr.

In the parks, I use fuelrods, seriously, so nice to be able to simply swap it at a kiosk when drained. Outside the parks I have others I will use, but fuel rods are much better in park as they are light and can be swapped for a fully charged one whenever needed.

One of the funniest things I’ve ever seen in the parks was some guy on line in front of us at Pirates charging his phone using the outlets along the queue. He would get maybe fifteen seconds of charging in before the line moved and he’d have to wait until he reached the next outlet for another fifteen second jolt. He probably could have used a battery lol.

To stay on topic, I have an external battery that’s pretty good at giving a full charge and I usually have a regular charger with me in case I’m eating near an outlet. That will last me the day.
