Stroller rules to be enforced

Yes thanks will keep an eye out.

These wagons will be turned away at the bus stops I assume, be a bummer for them.

The bus drivers already have a hard time with getting people to obey the rules, so this will be even more fun for them.... maybe they can install some signage at each bus stop -- which, I know, people don't read anyway, but maybe would help.

I wonder how they are explaining the letter from a couple days ago to their customers?

but that is dated 3/25 when it was only a rumor and references the old sizing limitations for strollers. Today the official announcement reads differently and the little icon they use for the "no wagons" looks a lot like the Keenz - so will be interesting if they have to change their stance

But I think this is a good example of how people might still try to push the rules, etc. - I can totally see someone with a Keenz showing a print out of this to the CM at the entrance to the park as proof for why they should be allowed

I don't know that they would do it because it would mean more CMs but it would be nice if they had CMs available for each of the bus stops at the resorts plus signs so the bus drivers don't have to take time out to deal with it.

Would be a lot more efficient if a front line CM can just let them know right then and there so they don't have to wait for the bus, attempt to get on the bus, and then be prevented from taking the stroller on the bus. Probably would lead to happier guests too, even if being told no on the stroller/wagon, if they found out earlier rather than later for at least the buses.

Could be the same implementation at the TTC so people don't get onto the monorails and the ferry prior to finding out what they have isn't allowed.

Probably a pipe dream but IMO would help out to diffuse the situation.

I agree that folks will sometimes try to push the rules.
On the other hand, Keenz actually describes their product as a "stroller wagon". After seeing the graphic @rteez posted, it's apparent Disney has left no wiggle room on this issue.

While this was a rumor, they did say they were specifically addressing the rumor and made some pretty bold statements saying "you will not have any issue getting into the parks with your Keenz 7S Stroller" or saying they have "re-confirmed" with Walt Disney World Stroller Rental Manager that the Keenz were the only style of stroller wagon allowed.

Essentially Main Street decided to address a rumor by specifically crafting a letter to debunk the rumor (through the statements they were addressing the social media and blog posts), which their response ended up being another rumor (speaking to a Disney World Stroller Rental Manager that couldn't speak on record).

They could probably install some sort of box before you get on the magical express TO the hotel so that at least you'd know ahead of time that your child conveyance vehicle won't get in the parks.

They could but at the same time I feel like they would still need people manned elsewhere for those who don't take DME, those who ignore the box or don't realize it's there lol. A box at the airport is a good idea still.

I would assume the majority of people who rent this type of stroller pick it up at their resort. I don't think a box at the airport would do much at all. We've always rented strollers and picked them up at the resort every time.

I was in mom's group on facebook this morning, and the ladies were going absolutely insane over the fact that Keenz will no longer be allowed in Disney. Saying they were going to take their mom claws out and make sure that they got their Keenz in the park. Really?! I, personally, find wagons a bit too much for Disney, even pushable ones. So I'm glad they are putting a restriction out. Let's see how long before it gets re-worded.

And just FYI, I just confirmed that Keenz has updated their FAQs page on their website to read that as of May 1st, no type of Keenz stroller wagon will be allowed on Disney property.

What type of stroller are you talking about?

I'm talking about strollers in general and have been on my comments regarding having a CM at the bus stops because it's not just about stroller wagons it's about size too.

Plenty of people bring strollers with them when flying..or driving for that matter..

Sorry, I stopped reading responses on page 8.

What's the word on City mini double strollers? Allowed or not? If not, I'll need to make alternate plans ASAP.

Thanks!
